What drug subcultures do you think are happiest?

I changed my mind.

A culture of chemists (related to a multi-millionaire defense attorneys) with a hidden field of Poppies, Marijuana, ephedra and coca plants. They also live behind a hospital and get health insurance.

Ahh, the life.

Add a small tobacco farm & whiskey brewery and that's where I'm retiring.
 
I think benzo users are the happiest because their drugs leave them feeling chilled out,with no worries and no paranoia like the pot heads.
 
Also stoners don't have to go through the same social stigma associated with harder drugs, and the self hatred involved with being a drug addict.
 
Haha, chill man, no need to get defensive about it. I was talking about my own experiences and experiences of friends. Everyone's is different. I suppose there is someone who can come up with something productive and smart when stoned.

ayy, didn't mean for it come across narky. i was genuinely put off as i always thought people thought too much when they smoked herb and that was the crux of most of the problems, like when im sitting there in a vegetative state, while im not running around doing the house work my mind is usually buzzing on a million things, thats the problem im thinking about shit rather than doing it. so when you get stoned you mean your mind goes blank?
...each to their own with drugs as with most things in life i guess. ganja makes me think, while liquor puts me to sleep, complete opposite to most people...i think i got problems i think.

you dnt have to use something daily to make a lifestyle out of it

i get what you are saying but if your psychadelic use shapes your day to day activities n thoughts, regardless of being under the influence or not, then i would say it governs ones lifestyle
 
I'd say users of legal, socially-acceptable drugs like alcohol are happiest. You know, because their drug of choice is legal and socially-acceptable.

I use an array of drugs regulary and Im happy(fair play I'm not constantly on something, but id say its regular)
I have an awesome family, great partner, amazing friends.

I like life, I like drugs. Both enjoyable.
 
I can't say any specific group of drug users are happy over another. It ranges from person to person. I would say potheads are but that wouldn't be entirely right because a lot of pot smokers are depressed. Then maybe I could say ecstasy users but then again thats not completely true. Yes, people who roll are extremely happy up to some point but a lot of the time its temporarily. However I can say I know heroin users are at the bottom of the list.... heroin has never made me feel happy. It has made me feel numb but nothing more and I know many can relate to that.
