Before i say anything i would like to throw out this disclaimer: discriminating between alcohol and "drugs" is retarded. Alcohol is a drug. With that being said, as an alcoholic I can't help but despise all those drug using individuals that look down upon alcohol. Some people like to nod off, others like to get spun, some get stoned, and it just so happens that I like to get drunk. Alcohol is my drug of choice. But there's usually some stoner/etard/acid head/ etc asshole that has to say, "alcohol should be illegal and weed/mdma/lsd/etc should be legal. Alcohol only turns people into morons while

I can understand the bitterness since my drug of choice happens to be legal, but there's no need to call for the criminalization of alcohol. I love getting drunk. And it just so happens that not all alcohol lovers are moronic, stumbling, assholes that always get in fights. Some of us just like to get drunk.

it amazes me that lsd can tare you ego to shreds or build it up to astounding proportions. more power to anyone who can get deep spiritual experiences from it but i hate to see it fill people with delusions of grandeur. i would think the insight they gain would show them its not the path for everyone and teach some humility;sadly, many get arrogant and try to push it to hard to people who may not be ready or prepared or even need it. its hard for me to believe they are spiritualy superior when they come off as know-it-alls and are closed minded about lsd and religion in genral.
i get what you're sayin about the feeling of "more than a drug." its a very powerful tool and im glad to see so many people gain happyness from it however they use it. i use it to have a good time at shows and also can have deep spiritual experiences by myself, i just try not to push my views on people. each man has his own path.
to get the thread on track. i always was sketched out by the tweakers and crack heads. tweakers, i knew, were odd to say the least and ive seen crack heads do some fucked up shit.

The grateful dead established the concept of "Family" not as gangster drug dealers but as people who take care of each other. I dont see any one trying to make people happy as much as i used to. Now its all just MOLLY,HEADIES, DOSES, K. All people trying to work and not make someones experience better, just caring about money money money.
Dont get me wrong there is some really cool down to earth, people on the scene that i strive to find, but the over infestation of the BALLER GDF SCUM makes me not want to be on the scene at all.

I don't agree that being an alcohol drinker automatically makes one a moronic asshole. But what I DO agree with, is that (the effects of) alcohol in general is responsible for more violence and sociopathy than any other drug. Even if other drugs were legalized, I still think alcohol would be the most related to violence/sociopathy (cocaine/crack would be a runner-up though). There's just something unique to alcohol that brings out the social-wrecklessness in a lot of people more-so than anything else.

This is my most hated too. One of my friends told me he got high off prozac and I'm just like 'ohh yeah thats cool' cause i don't wanna be a dick but damn lol. He asked me if he could drink hand sanitizer and get drunk one time too (which is essentially possible) but just such a dumb idea. Plus people trying to sell me naproxen. I'm glad i educate myself on these things.

I can't stand the Mephedrone/RC subculture. Some RCs are ok IMO after reading so many idiotic threads by mephedrone users who end up fucking themselves up and wonder why ive come to believe that just about everyone who uses mephedrone is a moron.
I also can't stand the culture of some other drug forums where everyone swims and tells about the experience of their "plants" after giving the "plant feeder" with stupid names like "meow meow"
I do admit that I was pretty dumb in my highschool years with how I use. Im older now and much more careful about anything I put in my body, the difference is like night and day. I am glad that RC's were not a big thing when I was in highschool, I could see myself getting mixed up in that shit back then.

I know it's not really a subculture, but I really don't like people who take half-tabs of acid and then spend the whole night raving it up and "trippin' ballz" because maybe the edges of their vision are blurry.
I also don't like people who use pot as an excuse for acting dumb as dirt.
I also find people who brag about their psychological issues and all the pills they need to take for it quite annoying.
...so, not real 'drug subcultures', but rather little habits of some drug-users that I don't like so much.
