What drug subcultures do you least like?

I cannot stand people who will smoke/snort/swallow anything in front of them, then act like they are better than people who IV.

I agree 100%.

Also, I really hate a lot of the god damns squatters in Tompkins Square Park. When I was a fledgling junky, I was ripped off quite a few times, and I was always real generous about giving them a few bags too. There are some exceptions of course, I had two great middlemen over there, though I havnt seen them in a while (I also stopped needing people to buy me dope)... But anyway, I'll always have a little love for avenue A, Rock the 40 oz!

I also never really liked speed freaks, even though I love stims.. I'd rather be high on coke, talking to someone high on heroin, it just works better for me in that way.

And I don't know if this counts, but frat boys=the worst.

I can't stand old gay men at the bars I go to who get all pissed off because sometimes I won't snort some shit with them in the bathroom-
sometimes I just want to go to a bar to drink and listen to some rock.

-yeah, old gay drug culture- those geezer queens tick me off, they grew up in a time where they had to lie about everything, and now it's hard for them to get anyone to trust 'em.
k
done :D

I use to live in a party house, and sometimes all I wanted was some fucking sleep-
the whole bro party thing got really old when I had to lock my bedroom door to keep stupid girls from throwing up on my bed.

the meth/speed community. even though i don't have any first hand experience with meth heads, the kids that are mad hooked on adderal annoy the hell out of me. also the RC people. i will say though that this is just in general. sweetP seems cool as hell! there are always exceptions. basically, some people just suck, no matter what subculture they are part of.

I'm an RC guy, but they aren't for everyone. To tell you the truth, I haven't met that many RC users- I don't get out much anyways, lol

Haha this is a wonderful thread.. really shows anyone can generalize about ANYONE and ANYTHING and that most of people in general are stereotyping fuckers. Including me.

Well not fuckers actually, I guess it is kinda natural to stereotype because when say 70% meth faces are bad people, it wouldn't be wise to approach one and assume he is okay. Nature's own way with dealing situations you already came across.

The same goes with racism after all. If you meet 5 gypsies who are agressive and want to steal everything, you don't have reason not to consider all gypsies are crappy thugs, even if somewhere deep you know it's not true.

More on topic, I gotta say hardcore pot heads are really one of the worst, since they never admit they are doing drugs at all, it's all nature isn't right??? And they just go on to waste years and years sitting at home.
Truly worst are meth people though, few months ago I got beaten by a bunch of those just because I looked bad at them or whatever reason they had, also got robbed (luckily had almost no money with myself).

Funny thing might be I personally love stims as well, at large doses, but I never act like them. Would never steal from anyone and not bother other people by talking shit for hours, I mostly care about myself and my family.

Also forgot to say: I despise people who hate/make fun of nerds. Sure, I am basically a nerd, else I wouldn't say.. I just want you to realize you Junkies it's YOU who are useless to society, while nerds are the most important people in the whole fucking society. Without nerds you wouldn't have internet nor bluelight where you could say nonsenses.

I'm a nerd
nerds turn me on.
hard to find hot gay nerds (that's for a different thread anyways)

I like stims- lots of them, but I usually end up either having sex with someone, or in my room painting and drawing. I'm not a party person when I do drugs, I guess I like to experience many things on my own.
Sometimes when you have a group of heavy users of any kind, (especially alcohol) they get this mob mentality, as though their chemicals define them.
It's like when a pot head goes on and on for hours about how Hemp can save the world-
haha
but that's for another conversation.

Well, I'm a meth-head, so I'm probably part of the most hated drug subculture. :)

But personally, I can't stand the ecstasy.... subculture...

The drug Culture I cannot stand, in all honesty, is not the rave scene, being a once active raver myself, is the opiate, bum-like culture. Hobo esque even, if I may, and I must!

Cultures I dislike -

Cannabis Culture - Not a huge pot smoker. Dislike how anti-social it makes people.
Opiate Culture - Once again, anti-social, anti-productive. Don't share the same aspirations.
Psychedelic Culture - Love psychs, but many long term users pretty much stray as far away from rational scientific viewpoint as a person can get.
Meth Culture - Love the conversations, but holy fuck don't steal from me.

Cultures I like:

Alcohol Culture - Good majority have their shit straight and like to have fun in a healthy way. (Occasional booze)
Rave Culture - Has its downs, but I have the best time partying with ravers.
Steroid Culture - Similar interests as me. The gym is like a club or a bar to them.

I used to think I hated Rave culture, but I've actually met quite a few people that would fall into that category (as well as opiate culture, people that take drugs commonly cross-subcultures), and I found that they were all pretty nice, and intelligent people. It's always kind of refreshing when you have a judgement which is proven wrong.

I like heroin culture okay, but only if the heroin users are people I can trust. Using opiates with friends has always been something that I seeked, because more often than not, I was getting high by myself because not too many other college kids were shooting up heroin where I go.

What I really can't stand is the brand of stoners/psychedelic users that always tell me to "just smoke some herb bro" when I'm strung out on heroin. "yeah dude, you're right, I'm just gonna spend the money I spent all day hustling for, on a dub sack." Get the fuck out of here...

Alcoholics, the alcohol "culture" is even worse. It's just another drug ffs and look at all the shit surrounding it. I don't dislike it itself, just what it turns people into and what a role it plays in our society.

Nothing worse than being sober or on another substance around drunk people, especially real alcoholics.

I don't really know anybody in Rave Culture, but I find that a lot of stoners are kinda in both subcultures.

I think that a lot of the old school ravers don't like the new generation of ravers.

^ Yea man, the girls in that video are pretty hot too. I saw that posted on someones facebook a few weeks ago, and I have been waiting for an opportunity to share it with the BL community. When I saw this thread on the front page my eyes lit up haha.

I don't even remember what I posted in this thread whenever it was but I just want to say is I'm kind of hating the heroin subculture. I mean there's good and bad in every subculture but lately I've been getting fucked over by heroin addicts or any opiate addicted motherfuckers. I got out of the game for a little bit but I quickly had to remind myself to not trust anyone after I started up again.... Started only using in december and already got a gun pulled out on me/robbed and I got beat once. I mean that all could of been simply avoided I guess but still makes me mad. So then again in the end maybe I don't hate the heroin subculture necessarily, I just hate any junkie or whatever who plays the game dirty. I mean if you're cool, we get along and you don't fuck me over them ill probably like you. Yet, if you fuck me over I fucking hate you and probably would of beat your ass if I was doped up... Even sometimes I might sober but then luckily I stop myself. So I really don't dislike any subculture anymore but I just dislike the shady fucks that can be in any.

dont know what i posted up last time, but i dont think i mentioned this

meth heads...especially in a group, but single can be just as bad. I hate how they'll talk talk talk talk and think they are being SOOO fucking profound, when really its just paranoid gibberish

also kandi kids

and because of that youtube video, ragers (really though, dont know if ive ever heard anyone call a group of people that before...ive heard good parties called ragers, but thats different)

I hate the party and play, (PNP) subculture that is all too present on any sort of online gay dating site. If I indicate that I use drugs at all (which I feel is potentially important information for anyone who is considering dating me), there always seems to be someone who is interested in smoking meth and having sex. The use of drugs (though it is almost always methamphetamine, which is referred to by its nickname "tina") while hooking up is known as PNP. I just don't seem to have the love for "Tina" that a seemingly large part of the gay community has developed. Furthermore, the people propositioning me are usually much older and the lifestyle has had an impact on their appearance. I'm not overly superficial, but if I was to have a casual hook up (which I usually don't find too enjoyable) I would go for someone I rate as "out of my league". In addition to being a decade or more older, they can be quite pushy and closely hedge towards overtly offering trading drugs for sex.

I try really hard not to look down on people who decide to engage in bareback sex, as it is a personal choice and they have their own reasons. This becomes very difficult when people in the PNP subculture push others to engage in it. I have been messaged by individuals who offer to get me high as long as I'm interested in barebacking. I usually reply telling them I always use protection and wish them luck. The majority drops the conversations here, but a few respond trying to convince me. This usually involves either restating that they have drugs to share, a pretty lame excuse as to why they cannot use a condom, or a promise that they are tested and clean. The last persuasive technique really grates my nerves as it could create a false feeling of security. There is a window period between the point someone is infected with HIV and the point where a test can detect the antibodies, and it is still possible to transmit it during this period. Furthermore, it is trusting a stranger to honestly report the results of their last test as well as any encounters that have happened since. If they are the type of person to try to talk someone into having unprotected sex, I would be very apprehensive about gambling my sexual health on their word. I also worry about those who are desperate for a fix could find themselves in a dangerous situation. The darker side of addiction can cause poor judgment, as we all know.

I can respect an individual's right to engage in a dangerous behavior for the same reasons I would hope someone would respect my right to recreational use drugs. If the parties involve consent, then I can only hope harm is reduced as much as possible and people educate themselves and others about the risks. I feel that by throwing drugs into the mix, it endangers those who are too addicted to adhere to logic and safety. Having encountered at least a few individuals in the PnP scene who seem expressly interested in their own gratification without much regard for others' safety, the entire scene gives me a sour taste.

I hate hippie organic freaks who won't touch synthetic things because they irrationally think synthetics are somehow much more dangerous or lack some "sacredness" to them. I also hate people who worship marijuana (/psychedelics) as completely harmless wonder-drugs and look down on all other drug users. These two demographics often cross over. Drug nerds annoy me, but only if they're pedantic.

Only drug subcultures I truly despise, are the violent/obnoxious drunks, and the G users putting it in other people's drinks without them being aware of it.

I'm good enough at just nodding and smiling or just walking away from anyone who's views/actions I disagree with and aren't willing to have a conversation, to dislike anyone for any other drug reason.

Also good enough at securing/watching all my valuables when in public and preventing shady people from entering any private residence.

Do heavily dislike weed and the related subculture though, but that is all personal bias due to being allergic to it.

Spiritual hippies are annoying when they proselytize... otherwise they're just fine.

I personally fall under:
- Psychonaut (open to almost anything after researching it for a few weeks)
- Psychedelic "Tripper Trooper" (I refer anyone who can take moderate to high doses of psychedelics and retain composure/mental faculties to carry on with their day without difficulty, aka 1.5mg of LSD and no one can tell unless they know you)
- Not really a "raver" but very fond of Electro House/Progressive House/Uplifting or Female Vocal Trance/Liquid D&B/Downtempo/Psytrance/Psychill or anything else with a beat and melody. Due that this, I am frequently at EDM clubs or Hippie parties, most likely tripping, occasionally rolling, rarely "flipping" except on special occasions, and rarely on stimulants in that specific environment unless work related.
- Highly productive coke/caffeine/dmaa stimulant using knowledge worker (80 hour work week's ain't easy...)
- Opiate/Benzo user for stress relief only.
- Nootropic/"Dietary Supplement" user! (Piracetam, Chelated Magnesium, Flaxseed Oil, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Melatonin, etc)

<3 drugs, they're so useful! Only really use MDMA or Psychedelics for recreation.

Drug nerds annoy me, but only if they're pedantic.

What's wrong with being accurate? If I am going to put something in my body, or someone else's body, I want fully informed participants regardless of level of safety.

all have their shitty elements and their chill folk.

most of the coolest ppl ive met were tweakers. they usually had jobs and had hair brained, off the wall ideas that could be money makers. even sober, these people tend to be the most extroverted and humorous. one of my friends who was a tweaker was also a rolling sixties crip who had not problems hanging out with me or my piru friend.
neat fellow. I used to work with him as a mcdonald's crewmember before he went to jail for attempting to rob our store. but, he was coked out when it happened. sad.
the bad ones ive met, however, can't keep their shit together. smell bad, hygiene, and their houses are fucking trashed that they look like tornadoes hit them.

the coke heads i new were cool too. one in particular a real nice dude. he was a tree top blood who was one of the best rappers ive ever heard. we always freestyled together.
when i can't stand them is when im stoned, for some reason the cokeheads i know are intolerant of clumsy, sleepy stoners.

stoners are a mixed bag. i like the ones who actually want to do stuff and play an instrument or have something productive they are doing.
my ex guitarist was a stoner. nothing wrong with that. the ones i dont like are the ones who constantly talk about its legalization or try to hard to be hippies which brings me to

the psychedelic culture, by far my favorite. but they sometimes fall into stoner traps. coming from an asian buddhist family i am constantly spoken to by new age westerners who somehow feel like experts on
my culture and religion. you can imagine how psychedelic drugs could compound the problem. also anyone who drivels on and on and on about "good vibes" or energies or whatever hippie babble they can think of can get annoying pretty fast.

Im a huge drug nerd, but im a nerdy guy in general. i love RC's and can talk about them till blue in the face. i honestly havn't met someone who was obnoxious about it, but then again i never scene a sizable RC culture around where i live to begin with.
it seems to pop up in discussion mostly on the internet, which along with shit like 4chan and whatnot can be a very annoying place to begin with.

i guess out of all these the candy kid raver culture bugs me the most. i don't mind some of the music but most of the scene is composed of teenaged etards. im talking about the modern rave scene. i partially blame mainstream dubstep. most drug users would consider drug use as part of socializing or at least view it as an interesting element of social interaction. the rave scene's interaction with each other is solely dependent on "rolling"
the ones i respect are, ironically, the ones who branch out to RC's or other psychedelics.

im not against rolling though, there's a very big culture of Hip-hop, rap music ecstasy users. notice how a lot of rappers get busted for viagra/x-pills. a lot of freestyle rappers roll when they spit. Eminem recorded a lot of his music rolling.

lastly the alcohol culture, its easy to pick on. but ive met some refined drinkers who bring a gentlemanly flair to the act of drunkeness.
but im in the deep country where almost everyone drinks their minds out and goes mudding afterwards. like wranglers and boots and homophobia. that culture i dont identify with. but hey, whatever floats your boat.

the opiate/heroin culture, ive met some of the finest dancers/musicians/thinkers and creatively dressed individuals who had heavily nursed opiate habits.
i was tripping at a house once where everyone shot up. they made their money by panhandling. at one point i when i was peaking i had used all my gas money to buy them food (they were so hungry) so i had to panhandle with them around ingram all the way to bulverde.
