What drug makes people the most devious?

Status
Not open for further replies.
Maybe I wasn't that deep in the game with heroin but I have never done anything too horrible to get dope and neither has my SO. The worst I did was take some money out of my SO's account when he had plenty left. I always shared my drugs with him, never left him sick and always made sure he is not sick before myself. So it didn't take the humanness out of me. But maybe I just wasn't addicted enough. I've seen people do way worse things on crack, but it might just be related to how addicted the person is and not necessarily much to do with the substance.

This is all so completely subjective, I guess if your talking about deviousness I'd say stimulants particularly methamphetamine. There is something about being caught up in the moment of a stimulant high and not wanting it to end.

I've never done meth, but just today I went out and bought more dexedrine at midnight just because it was available and I had taken my last pill a little earlier. I didn't do anything devious but I spent money that could have been put to better use, there is just something about the cleanness of that high that makes me act very impulsively especially in high doses. In low doses I'm actually less impulsive. Adderall has too many side effects and is self limiting to me.

I've seen too many people turn into vacant alien tweaker psycho people from meth. I know I'm no better using dexedrine. With opiates I'm better at thinking ahead. But I think that's because I stick with poppies these days. I actually feel pretty guilty about when I used to steal ambien from people I lived with when I couldn't sleep, only a pill or two at a time but it's the principal and I'm trying to keep my karma clean these days.

How does someone throw a car?

Back on topic, I would say Meth, Crack and Heroin.

I've seen people on their hands and knees, picking thru the carpet for hours looking for imaginary rocks to smoke.

I've seen an outrageously hot chick offer a guy a BJ in exchange for his last hit of Crack only to see him turn her down and choose that last hit instead.

I then went and picked a little chunk of soap out of the motel room bathroom, got a BJ from the hottie and then gave her the "rock" and then split.

That was a long, long time ago. (20 years ago)

I heard she wasn't too happy about it.

As I was reading this I could imagine it. My neighbor is a cracker and that dude is doing the STOP DROP and get on your knees when he 8 ball is no longer in the baggie..smoking fucking sheet rock in the dark WTF, oh and by the way he is on social security for being illiterate, so he has no worries, rent free, food stamps, health insurance and he does crack for 25 days out of the month...what is wrong with this picture??8)

Like said before, I think any drug has the power to turn even the straightest person crooked. As soon as the funds run low or your DOC is running out, your brain is instantly scheming a way to get the next hit/shot etc.

I'm not in the upper crowd, so I can not speak for them, but the opiate addicts I have been and dealt with are bad. Everyone I've delt with has always said, 'if you're ever sick i'll throw you something to help you". When that day comes, no one is around. An opiate user is out for themselves to the end.

Worst I have ever done is stolen money from family and stolen prescription meds from family. The latter would even work in my favor, because when said person would be short at the end of the month (from me stealing meds), he would then give me money to buy him more off the streets. I would then in turn charge an enormous inflation price (knowing he'd pay not to be sick) so I could get pills out of the deal as well. It would be a double win for me. Terrible now, but it's what I did. I've also done the thing where someone gives you money for shit and then "oops, I got robbed, or they charged 0x more so I could get shit over them.

Glad, for the most part, that part of my life is behind me.

Amen to you. I hope you stay ahead of that life. I hope I can too..I choose to remember, so I don't forget!!!!

Self-centerdness is the core of the disease of addiction. However, I have noticied that self-centerdness and self-obsession is a common, though not ubiquitous charcteristic among people with other disease states, especially in the presence of poorly managed pain and distress. Having said that meth turns people into unprincipaled demented vampires. PCP causes people to jones hard but in my experience leads to schemes based on bizarre ideation ( which is a comonality they share with meth albeit at a less pronounced extent). Alcohol seems to lead to unprincipaled behavior, look at the state the world is in. It has been ruined by decisions made and schemes hatched at alcohol soaked coctail parties. Alcohol makes it easier for many people to not follow their conscience and cloud ones thinking leading towards gradiousity and unprincipled decisions. I'm sure the foundations for the modern drug war were layed in booze soaked rooms 101 years ago in Shanghai.

PCP makes you invincible! Seriously though, PCP makes you stronger while you're on it.

PCP also makes you think there are cops chasing you and you stab yourself in the wind pipe with a butcher knife...thats what my 19 year old friend did behind some PCP. Sounds like fun ...WTF it makes you stronger? It makes you stupid too. Sorry it must be the mother in me I get so mad sometimes at people that think it's all a game..it is as if you are two inches from a mack truck, each time you use it could be the last. Let me ask you would you stand that close to a mack? Death is inches from you at all times when you choose to do deadly shit. I know I have a big opinion. I earned it trust me!=D

PCP does make you invisible, don't talk shit about a drug if you haven't tried it :).
What drug doesn't make you stupid besides stims?

^I've personally lifted things while on PCP that I know for a fact I couldn't lift whilst not under the influence. What you say about the numbness might be true, but I think it also has something to do with the excess quantities of adrenaline that are sometimes produced while on PCP.

First of all, chill out. Seriously.

Second of all, PCP can indeed cause psychosis, I've become dangerously crazy while coming down from PCP before. But it doesn't always do that and it shouldn't be portrayed in such a fashion. Don't post information about topics if you don't have any real knowledge of the subject at hand (as in information other then your experiences). Death is also not inches from you every time you do PCP, although if you choose to do PCP you should definitly have a trip sitter.

Of course PCP makes you stupider, dissassociatives tend to do that. So do most drugs, it doesn't mean you'll endanger yourself while on them. PCP does cause dangerous psychosis sometimes, but not usually. I've never actually been at a risk of harming myself on PCP, and neither have most of the people I know. Just because it happened to someone you know doesn't mean that those are the effects that the drug will neccesarily cause.

As a note- I no longer use PCP and I recomend against using it. Also, the joke was a reference to the fact that many people feel invincible while on PCP. Which is true, so I really don't see why you took so much offense to it.

I see that I lost another battle, you are right, I am wrong, I know absolutely nothing about anything.I grew up in a dysfunctional home. I have 2 older brothers and two older sisters. There were more drugs sitting on my dinner table when I was fuckin five then you may have seen in a life time . But remember I know nothing.Look man I may never have done PCP but my brother lived in my house and he was a user of PCP . I know exactly what it can do to someone, My brother jumped out the window after smokin a big old hit of the shit. So I want to know what more do I need to know about this drug to make me an anymore knowledgeable. I am 44 years old and seen more then I would like to remember, So before you come down on me for caring try to be a little less judgmental. I have only been doing drugs for more then half my life, I am not proud to tell you there is not to much I haven't done. I am 44 and been fucked up for 30 of them 44 years so I should probably stick to the shit I know about, like rocket science.:\

You're right, as a frequent user of all kinds of drugs I also know nothing. Seeing that I'm under 18 and have been using since 9, and I highly doubt the drugs you've seen on the table is more than what I see to my left. You may think you know more about drugs than all other users, but trust me, you don't. ;)
