What Drug Combo to Use for the Most Chill Plane Ride?

I have an 8 hour flight coming up and I hate flying. My goal is to feel super relaxed and comfortable but, importantly, in control of my actions. What sort of combination do you recommend?

I have at my disposal:

Weed brownies
Ativan (Lorazepam) 1mg #10
Ethanol, purchased on the plane

I'm *very* familiar with the effects of weed and alcohol, but I have never taken Ativan, or any benzodiazepine, and I don't know much about how it will interact with the weed or the booze.

i had to fly with a fractured ulna and pretty fresh surgery, had plates n pins in my arm to hold the bone together

with that said, i was eatin around 70mg hydrocodone a day...pop 2 norcos, relax, eat 2 more chill...

flying on those was peice of cake

had xanax once when flying too, they were ok but i probably wasnt takin enough as it didint quite take the edge off...only took 1mg though, i didnt have an RX for em....but i had an RX for my norcos :)
 
For me personally, It would be Xanax with 2 shots of good alcohol, or 2 beers. NO MORE than that alcohol-wise.

Im partial to xanax because it helped me get over my hatred of flying in my earlier years. Its so relaxing to me.. even during takeoff im just kinda drooling on myself and laughing. (Not really but you get the point)
 
I would stick to benzos, only because I would think the weed brownies would have a chance of weirding a person out on a plane.
 
A few friends and I flew to Europe from the west coast of the US a few years back. I can't remember entirely, but lets say it was a 10 hour flight.
One of my friends and I hit up our docs to get some 'chill' meds. I got ativan and he got xanax.
This could just be a personality thing, and it most likely is, but 2mg ativan chilled me out good, any little more and I was crashed (ahhh remember the good old days before benzo tolerances?).
My buddy took several xanax footballs (probably 4+mgs) and was jumping over sleeping passengers on his way to steal those tiny bottles from the stewardesses cart. Then he got smashed, loud, and almost violent on the plane. Yes this was after 9/11.

Of course its all up to you. If you can handle benzos+ alcohol, by all means go for it. But really if you want to chill, all you'll need it a few of those ativan, depending on your tolerance, and maybe a drink of alcohol to potentiate if you have a high tolerance and don't want to take too many pills.
Just remember that you have to be coherent when the plane lands!
 
^ 2nd note - I wouldn't go with the brownies either, unless you've eaten from that batch before, and you know they are the kind/you are the person to get mega-chilled out from them, and not weird/paranoid/restless/etc. Don't want any bad vibes.
 
I totally agree with the valium/xanax alcohol combo, I fly across Aust and to Bali a bit 8hr flight on average and I've already picked up my luggage before my heads straightened out.
P.S.- Drooling on yourself is a side affect that probably wont be appreciated by the dude sitting next to you!!
 
I think you should try the ativan before taking it on a plane. Chances are it will just relax you, but the effects of benzos are really subjective and you want to make sure you like the effects of the drug before doing it on a plane.
 
yeah, definitely do a dry run with the benzos. You'd hate to black out and find out that you were horribly belligerant!
 
In your place, i would eat the weed brownie 2 hours or so before your flight, so your nice and high by the time you lift off. But i would dose afew benzos minutes before the flight, around 3-4mg of the ativan(since its your first time with benzos), and maybe have a drink or two on the plane. That should calm your nerves enough. Enjoy your flight.
 
1 mg of lorazepam and a drink or 2 of alcohol. weed brownies, probably will make u more anxious unless u have a high tolerance. If its filled with indica strain bud then it would be a good idea. But dont eat the whole thing at once. eat it a little at a time.
 
2 x 10mg Valium
1 x 1mg Alprazolam
1 x 2mg Clonazepam

Last time I was escorted to my seat then again I flew Premier Class (I use that term lightly as it meant 3" more leg room, free booze and food which I slept thru).

too bad you havent got any opiates. . man. . . when you're up above heavy cloud cover at night time. . looking out the window into the stars and the strange kind of dreamland. . .

that would be pretty close to bliss for me. something about that blue colour of a moon & starlit night. .so dreamy
 
I would be very careful with the mixing of benzos and alcohol. It will definitely give you a relaxing plane ride but you may also fall into a very deep sleep or black out if you have even a tiny bit more alcohol than you should...and that is not a good situation to be in on a plane flight when you have to get up suddenly, get off, go somewhere, catch another flight or get your luggage.

Ha that would be awesome, tripping on a plane. Ima have to agree with everyone else and say xanax, 4mg or more for me and I am out like a light. Unless you want to remain semi-coherent and awake
 
Eat a few mg of ativan, prefferably 2mg since it's your first time with ativan and it's not that strong, take the rest with you on the plane (be careful if you dont have a prescription to it). If you want more take one at a time and wait a while until you take another. If you drink while on the ativan, dont drink too much.

I dont know about the brownies though... When I'm high I dont like being in crowded areas and for me planes are pretty crowded. I get more anxious and very paranoid around a lot of people, but if you dont then it would pretty good if you ate them before you go into the airport.
