What drug caused you most trouble?

weed really did some permanent damage on my brain...even years after i quit being a regular smoker (probably smoked a handful of times in the last couple years) i'm still slow as shit...thanks alot marijuana

then there's the ecstasy and oxy that i'd spend my entire paycheck on and be broke for an entire week because of

who knows...i've had trouble with alot of things...but i still think weed had the most negative permanent (at least to this day) effect

opiates. addicted to tylenol 3 for 6 months by legitimate prescription... bitch to get off and pretty much went cold turkey.

SHROOMS! only bc theyre a felony in my state. fucking probation and fees upon fees.

hard finding a job with a felony record!

Shrooms are a felony in the US, Its schedule 1, doesn't matter which state you are in. Only certain Indian religions in the south west can legally ingest mushrooms.

Vicodin has caused me the most trouble. Its the only drug I have a hard time abstaining from. I lie about it and am very functional while on it, but I feel like I don't know myself without it anymore, and that disturbs me. I've been on it basically every day for over 2 years, a couple breaks here in there that have lasted up to 2 months.

My liver is probably fucked up, I would take in 3+ grams of APAP (tylenol) a day. Short term that isn't that bad, but every day for a long time its bad. Its a good thing I don't drink much.

If you have a felony on your record you should talk to a lawyer and see what the laws are in your county for getting your record expunged. I had a 5th degree drug pos. felony, fortunately I was able to get it wiped clean, it just took a couple years and about $2600 in lawyer fees. Well worth it.

Maybe when I was rollin' every weekend, even multiple times a week. I dunno if I call that trouble but more like a waste of my brain.

Another drug that was 'trouble' for me was pcp since I was smoking it like it was weed. Before school, during school, after school, before work, during work, after work, etc. I guess you could say I was an addict for that shit.

Also when I was 15 I was giving sexual favors to a 28 year old man to get me coked everyday. Maybe that's the troubled one, at one point in time.

I never got into the heavier problem causing drugs. I always was too busy smoking weed, trippin, rollin, flippin, and getting tarted.

I can't be sure but I do believe that companies like LEXIS-NEXIS and ChoicePoint never delete the information they have about you. It may be expunged in your county, state. But a good background check should still be able to find your record. :(

Crack! That stuff is wicked ... once I start smoking I'll smoke my whole damn supply instead of stopping when I planned too ... and if I have some laying around the house planning to save it for a week or so I'll end up doing it in a day or two instead. It gets me so way fucked up.

Heroin, Opiates...

It feels like the effects and consequences of my addiction are present almost a year and a half later.

:(

I'm the OP of this thread .

TO ALL who posted about about Alcohol:

Would you call the following a problem:

-~10 ER visits sezurers, IV Dilantin, Halo-Dro,peridol(security gards at the ward door)
-~4 Psych hspt stays
-~5 Police cell, car stays
- local cops knowing you
-3 medical detoxes
-family kicking you out

A problem?

Yer! some just don't get the point.

And the morning shaking that is ONLY relieved by a drink, or ~150+mgs Valium. My Doc scripts me 30, 5mg tabs monthly and makes a big deal about it being a "controlled drug"-DICKHEAD, Alcohol should be a Sch 1 drug not some casual drink anyone over 21 can buy and drink all they want of, whenever they want.

Ozzy Osbourne-"Demon Alcohol"---So true

Toss up between alcohol + benzodiazepine ( yeah its not one drug, its only caused problems when combined......but those problems were fucking massive ) and Opiates.

I cant choose one, Weed and meth send me to rehab twice with a long drawn out addiction.

Using meth, ritalin and opiates IV screwed up a few relationships for awhile(thank god theyre now repaired) I still have faint track marks, unknown damage on vital organs, cravings, mental issues, detox issues, family and money issues.

Alcohol got me knocked out 3 times in one night, but that was probably me.
