What dose of methadone can I still get high on fent while still using the methadone to block withdrawals?

Hey all. I’m in a bad spot. On about 4mg of klonopin a day (get a prescription but get most of it off the black market). Recently I went from 180mg of methadone to 135mg in the course of about a year. I don’t notice much difference but I am definitely craving more. I was just wondering at what point street fentanyl would start cutting through the methadone? Like if I got down to 30mg could I potentially use fentanyl and methadone at the same time? 1 to get high and 1 to keep me out of withdrawals? Just a question, no it’s not a good idea. Just hypothetically what dose of methadone could I use Fent to get Hugh and methadone to stay out of withdrawals? Thanks.

Also do you think if I went back up on my methadone these cravings would go away? I just have spent 5 years at the clinic and it gets so old. My LOL and partner died from a Fent OD in 2022 when I was 18 months sober off everything for the first time and let my guard down. I was on 35mg of methadone and off all benzos for almost 2 years but after she died I pretty much forced the methadone doctor to raise my dose to 180mg or I threatened to relapse everyday….dont want to be sober don’t want to be high just gets so old.
 
I hear that.... I know for me fent will cut through anything under 100 mg.... be sure to titrate .... as you noted its probably best to go up on methadon3. Did you have constant thoughts of using at 180?
 
I just reread post.. I would definitely go back up and then reasses. Did the 180 block fentanyl?

How many days was that 180mg or now you are down to 135mg meant to last you?

YET AGAIN it has to be said Fent isn't like Heroin, I really question if Methadone will help you if you have a Fent habit tbh.
I am from The UK & been on Heroin since 2001, lucky we don't have a huge Fent issue like The USA & Canada but the Methadone I am on JUST about cuts it for me to not be sick, some days it doesn't quite do the full 24 hours & I will get a little sick but not to the point of shitting, puking, sneezing etc.

I wish you luck with it, for all it's worth I can only suggest you try Pre-Gabalin, I have found Pre-gabs to be truly amazing in Heroin withdrawl, they are better than anything I have ever come across, I say give them a go but that ONLY MY OPINION for all it is worth.

I hope the mods don't take what I said as "bad H.R." I am only speaking from LIVED EXPERIENCE when I have ben coming off Heroin & used pregabalin to help the withdrawl effects.
