I've popped 6 E's in 19 hours
and that was 20 peaks ago
Back then I was feeling so glad
But now I'm feeling lonely and sad
Back then I was flying so damn high
but now I want to curl up and cry
Fuck I feel like SHIT!
Was it all worth it? Was it?
Would you think of me as a bug
if I asked you for a good'ol hug?

"Speed like lightening, crash like thunder"
Hi, my name is Peter.
My stage name is DJ Smooth. Music means a lot to me. I started making dance and trance tunes about 10 months ago. when I was very depressed about many things in my life. I really needed to keep my mind pre occupied risking the possibility of going crazy from depression.
I produced my first complete track titled "Someone spiked my drink" around June 1999. It felt amazing knowing that I had accomplished. I contacted 'ravers' from Canada and USA on the net hoping that they could listen to my first track. To my surprise, they enjoyed my track. This in turn encouraged me to create the following track called 'lasercut' , asked alt.rave newsgroup to check out the track and they enjoyed that too!
I then took the music to the next level and approached a DJ, Les Toth. He played my music at a club he was playing at. My dream had come true! It felt awesome to hear my own track being played in a club!
Now I am concentrating on my music full time. There are people all around the world who are listening to my tracks right now. In less than 12 months my music has received air play and club play and thanks to people out there (like yourself) who are the driving force behind my music.
My aim now is to expand my love of music by sharing it with you. I hope you enjoy the music. Visit http://www.mp3.com/djsmooth2000 and I would love to hear any comments that may give me ideas in ways to improve future production. Tell me what kind of music you would like me to make.
I would love to hear your experiences relating to music as well. Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanking you,
Peter Reginald a.k.a. DJ Smooth.
