My apologies for adding to what might be a typical query, but I'm seeking some guidance. I have ketamine on the way, and I'm uncertain about what to expect. I intend to start with a low dose, but I'm apprehensive about its psychedelic properties. I've had negative experiences with substances like shrooms, LSD, and even cannabis.

It is VERY different from psychedelics. It's warm, comfy, relaxing, trippy, mellow with lower doses (0.5 to 0.75mg per kg/bodyweight) and it's sedating, non-social, dissociating, euphoric, very trippy and out of body experience with higher doses (1 to 1.25-1.5mg per kg/bodyweight).
How are you going to consume it?

Thanks for the advice, mate. That's a good quote. I don't have any plans to head out. Just gonna take a bit and sink into my couch & bed.

Okay. When snorted, ketamine is much more forgiving with dosing but I suggest you scale your every bump.
I use ketamine mostly iv/im and you must scale your every dose carefully to not put yourself under anesthesia instead of having K-hole or Funny dose, its no fun. I weigh about 57kg, and if I wanna hole, i take Racemic ket about 75 to 90mg or s-ket 60 to 75mg, or if i wish to stay awake, i take 40 to 60mg (iv). When/if i snort, i take Racemic 100 to 175mg or s-ket 95 to 140mg.
 
I've tried it a few times. I've taken maybe ten lines so far in the past two days. I cannot tell if I am taking too little, which is most likely the case, or just expecting too much. I need to buy a scale that can give me a vague idea of how much I'm doing. Do you have any recommendations? I've been taking it out of the bag with a key and lining it up on a plate. I'd have to guess I'm taking 15mg, but who the fuck knows. I have a shitty $10 weed scale that can read up to X.XX; perhaps I'll attempt to see what "30mg" will say on the scale and compare it to how much I've been taking out with a key.

I can feel something when on it, but describing the effects is challenging. I can still walk (I certainly would not pass the heel-to-toe sobriety test, but I wouldn't do too terribly on it), listening to music sounds better, some minimal euphoria, and that's about it.

But some good scale with 0.001g accuracy.
Yeah I think you take too little, ket feels amazing when you take it enough.
