What does eating propylhexedrine cotton from inhalers feel like?

I've heard it feels similar to meth and is stimulating/euphoric, but I honestly find that a little hard to believe considering it's OTC. If it is stimulating/euphoric, what does it compare to?
 
People often compare stimulants to meth, because meth is the gold standard of stimulants. Every stimulant is like meth, they're just not as good/clean/strong/have lower ceiling to the effects.
The physical structure of propylhexadrine begs the comparison to meth, too - changing from a benzene ring to a cyclohexane ring is a much bigger difference than it looks like to someone who isn't a chemist.

Propylhexadrine is a very dirty jittery stimulant, with a lot of peripheral sideffects (increased heart rate, etc). It would be likened most closely to ephedrine. It's not bad considering it's available OTC, but the physical sideffects really interfere with enjoyment of the high. It's also not a focused, productive high like adderall (or meth) - more of a hyper can't sit still kind of stimulant, than a focused clean the house for hours loving every minute stimulant.

Do you have to actually eat the cotton? Or could you just inhale the entire thing through the inhaler?

You _could_ but it'd take a damned long time puffing on the inhaler! Those things last forever when used as directed...

You're better off rinsing the magic out of the inhaler and drinking that, instead of eating the cotton. Eating cotton is not a great idea from a gastrointestinal perspective.
 
^It's a horrible idea from a gastrointestinal perspective. I'm talking don't-do-it level of horrible.

It's also a pretty bad idea from a recreational drug user's perspective. Stop trying to get high off propylhexedrine.
 
Here's a thread all about it, including how not to have to eat the whole cottons. They can become lodged in your stomach or inestines and can cause blockage. As NT said, don't do it!

We're not here to tell you what you can get high off and we don't really do "what is x drug like" long discussions anymore - we try to keep threads short and sweet.
