What does an Oxy withdrawal feel like?

The 2nd day is by far the worst. It takes about 12-18 hours after your last dose when you begin to feel the withdrawals coming on but the peak is on the 2nd day. You won't have "intense" withdrawals since you have only been taking for 4 months and dose is not too high (45-60mg). I'd have to say that you will experience flu-like symptoms, not full blown though. I don't think you'll vomit, maybe feel like it. You'll be restless, especially in your legs, muscles will really ache and have a very, very hard time trying to get to sleep or stay asleep.

Just a post-WD update. What really helped with the mental cravings was a 1mg to 2mg dose of Clonazepam. After day 3, it was smooth sailing from there with the help of my friend Klonopin.

Thanks everyone. I've been clean for almost 5 months now. :)

Another script that is helpful with withdrawal is lomitil. It helps a lot with the gastro symptoms. I've w/d off painkillers many times and decreasing slowly helps the most, then during withdrawal lomitil and klonopin, and don't forget the bucket.

Oxy withdrawlas are the worst ive had. far worse than coke withdrawals.... muscle spasming... chronic back aches that your body tells you only an endone (brand name forfast release Oxy) or oxycontin can fix.. you cant sleep at night you stay up the whole night feeling uncomfortable and shitty.you fall asleep for a few hours and wake up extremely sweaty with a dry mouth. during my experience with them as i took them legitimately for pain was that my body thought it was in pain so i kept taking them but when i experienced true pain i realised it was my body signaliing my body that it needed more oxy's. theyre good though :D

I have never had to go through it personally (can't seem to get addicted to it) but my friend who was taking close to a 100 mgs of Oxy IR a day had to go cold turkey at some point. For about 4 days he felt like he had the worst flu of his life, after that things started to get better for him. Of course three weeks later he decided it would be a good idea to try a little H.....he never managed to get away from that one.
