What do you want played at your funeral?

You have to choose two don't you, one for when they come in and one for when they leave.

Maybe Collapse the Light into Earth by Porcupine Tree on arrival and then The Safety Dance by Men Without Hats on the way out.
 
Don Mcleans American Pie was played at my grandmother's funeral, I suspect it was chosen by my mother and uncles
 
This post is exactly what I planned create a thread about. i attended a funeral of a friend today. It was the usual christian funeral that turned into a mini sermon. Here's the thing, I'm thinking about creating my own eulogy for my send-off. I would give highlights of my life and what i really think about life, and the bull shit that goes along with it. I would share my interests and quest for meaning and purpose. This would include my family background, my dad the preacher, and of course church, lots of church.

A resurgence of interest in psychedelics and ultimately finding scientific proof that fully answered my questions. what I know is all I need to know. No god, no jesus, no church.

as an atheist trying to resist being agnostic I've told my wife many times what I want my funeral to be like.

cheapest funeral possible, cardboard box is fine, use the money for a party.

thinking of them playing this as they burn me always makes me laugh
