What do you use to grind pills? How many of you use a ped egg?

I am wondering how you grind your pills? Everyone has their own method. I personally use a ped egg (thing for feet).. It comes apart and sits perfectly over a mirror, plate or whatever you plan to put your powder on. It grinds down to a perfect fluffy powder and it does not matter how hard the pill is. So what do you use?

I am mainly curious about how many of you use a ped egg? I call my pedd egg "the aparatus". It fits nicely in a makeup bag I put it back together and just carry it with my makeup and it travels well.

a twice-folded piece of paper and the back of my cell phone or the bottom of a beer bottle. the edge of my credit card for the finer work.

I used to swear by the folded paper and other blunt instrument but then I started using a ped egg after watching my friend use one. I still do use the paper trick when I am out and about because I don't carry my apparatus when I am out unless it's over night.. then I wash it well to make sure there's not pill residue in it..
 
I use a small size kitchen grater available at food lion for about 4 bucks, I tried to use my girls ped egg once and it didn't work for shit.....

yeah, i once saw someone use a hose clamp thing too. similar to the egg idea. worked pretty well. if i had an opana script, i might look into investing in one of these tools myself. i just dont grind pills enough to get fancy.

Yea they work great for Opana. The Roxis crush so easily. Plus I snort my Opana because it works better and I can use less that way. I can still snort it not get high and get adequate pain relief but then I can also snort it and get high as fuck. It's the best of both worlds as far as pain medication goes.

I have something similiar that I have used but it's a kitchen tool LOL... haha What I like about the ped egg is it gets everything.. with a tool like that I find you lose some because of its shape... I have lost my ped egg and used that but I find the egg to be superior.

I have one of those for my feet as well. One for pills and one for feet.. I would never use the same for both.. LOL
 
I was going to buy a ped egg, but it didn't look like it would do a good job with the OP's, the grooves on the ped egg look like it would just shave slivers off the pill instead of turning it into powder. I don't lose much using that thing and I can shave an OP 30 in about 1 min.
 
I used to use a small glass and a rollling pin like a mortar and pestle, back when I didn't use so many pills. Now I need around 64 APAP&C, conveniently two packs exactly (plus 5 ibuprofen and codeine which I just swallow), so I had to buy a coffee grinder. Takes 10 seconds or less to grind everything up, only problem is it's a bit noisy so not good for being covert. Which sort of leads me to a question that fits nicely into this thread :

I'm home from uni for the holidays now, and couldn't bring my coffee grinder with me, so I'm struggling to think of an easy and relatively quick way to crush 64 pills. Any ideas?

Boots (retail pharmacy) sell their own brand which dissolve completely in water in around 60 seconds, however there is only one Boots in my town and I need 2 packs. They were starting to recognise me as a regular and give me funny looks before I moved to uni, so I might be lucky to get 1 pack every few days. Will the more common generics dissolve in water if left/stirred for long enough? Any ideas on how long this will take?
