What do you think of daily Klonopin and Adderall cocktail for anxiety and focusing?

I can get both prescribed... trouble is, when I take adderall by itself I get way too anxious, and when I take Klonopin by itself I get way too tired. Otherwise they work like a charm.

I was thinking 1mg a day of klonopin and 20mg a day of adderall. I know there's the whole withdrawal hell of klonopin, but if I ever decide to come off I'll just switch to valium or something.

This combination is prescribed quite often and is very effective. You most likely won't get tired, but will still have motivation and focus (without anxiety issues).

I was going to warn you about the dangers of having to deal with both amphetamine and benzodiazepine withdrawal if you were to stop this combination cold turkey but it sounds like you've already done your research there.

A lot of people can't take amphetamines without a benzo or another anti-anxiety agent either in their system or close at hand.

I myself am on Dexedrine and alprazolam and a number of other medications for certain different disorders that I have. It works well for me, but not everyone is the same.

It's something you should be talking to your doctor about and it's up to him/her the course of treatment you will get. Of course you have a say, but ultimately your physician will choose a treatment plan for you.
