what do you think are the differences between recreational use/dependance and addicti

I'll say this, so soon as you use any substance, and then feel the desire to use it again, some degree of mental addiction is a very safe bet.

Where it goes from there is very much dependent upon the person, as well the course they choose to take.

Well ill tell you this...

id been planning on getting some weed and some 2-fma to blast me out of my boredom/depression but as i was waiting on the weed dealer i started to get really angry and uneasy feeling how my happieness was dependant on when he would call. it is this cold chiull ive felt in the past feeling 'this isnt right'.

This pissed me off so i told him sorry i wont be wanting any.

i think this is the clincher for me in that in the past id use drugs as a crutch to try and blast me out of feeling like shit but it would always fail because id sink deeper after once they wore off.

so my plan now is to put them on hold till i sort out this constant empty feeling inside and get on a more even keel. maybe i wouldnt want them at all after that dunno.

this is the same reason ive refused to take anti depressants because your leaning on some outside thing to get you by. i think in the lowest points you gotta really go back to ground level and use stuff you know you can rely on no matter what- ie least dependent on contingencies like walking around or going on a small exusrion or some shit
