Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I like the funny things you hear at the rave.

I've been to my 1st one last Sunday and got a strange request: could you pass me that cig? (the one I'm smoking right that minute)

Definitely looked at him funny, but by the time I realized the cig in my hand passed somewhere else lost in the sea of people.

My answer: sorry bro, it's gone somewhere.
 
"Hey have you seen ... around?"
"[some random girl] What's your name? My name is ... "
"Can I have a massage? "
"LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS!"
 
"Having a good night?"
"You rolling?"

Is what I usually say, don't normally pay attention to what anyone else says, just see their mouth open in my direction and respond with the above

Haha I like this thread. The most common joke questions I ask people are usually 'What way are we going tonight?' 'What's ya name, agenda and do you like crisps (or any random inanimate object)?' 'Can you describe this feeling?'

Yeah I'm a random cunt.

Most questions people ask me are 'Can I have some chewing gum?' 'Can I have some water?' (I also ask this though haha) and I love to give it away, nice feeling. There's always the classic 'Are you on MD?' but not many people actually ask to buy it or sell it at raves. Most people are prepared and there fore the music, not to make money.

This is true. I love them conversations where you ask someone something, they don't hear, you ask again, they don't hear, you ask once more and they still don't hear. Then you proceed to just have a strange facial expression at each other before moving onto something else.
 
i get asked for smokes a fair amount. i'll often take a spare pack with me so that i can give smokes to people who bum them. it's nice to be able to say 'yes' to people as an alternative to getting bent out of shape over a quarter...

At festivals and stuff I get asked for pills a lot, mind you I'm not even high until the end of the night, so I must just look dopey or fucked up isn't it?

in that situation I just nod my head furiously and reply 'yeah' 'yeah?' 'oh yeah' 'yeah!' then when they stop talking and wait for a reply I'll blabber on about some other nonsense and they'll do the same to me. it's pretty funny :)
