What do you do while waiting for your dealer?

Most the dealers around here do doorstep delivery its pretty standard. Although my ex dealer took ages, like hours sometimes and was always "5-10 min away". Though I usually get stuff off my mates now.

Sounds like a plan. I wonder what an undercover would say to a white boy idling in his car, while in a Dominican neighborhood, reading a book while waiting for his hookup. :)

Well, I guess it couldn't be any worse than a white boy waiting in his car, nervously looking around and checking his watch. ;)

Seriously though, next time I'm bringing a book or Nintendo DS.

I don't think these dealers know how much business they can lose by making someone wait. A friend of mine was picking up about 5 bundles of H and the dude made him wait close to 20 minutes in a semi-shady area. He called up another guy (basically down the street), who had the shit in about 2 minutes (and probably equal or better quality). I guess some will move quickly for their $300. May sound like a bit of a dick move, but business is business. If I want fast food and go to Burger King and the line isn't moving, I'm leaving and going to check out the wait at Taco Bell.
 
The one thing I hate most is getting text messages from the same person I talked to him or her on the phone 5 minutes ago. Now if I am waiting to score I am on the phone trying to flip the stuff before I get it :)

Find a dealer who does not use. Find a dealer that keeps regular business hours and sticks to them. Find a dealer who has a 'regular' day job. Find a dealer who is stable and dependable.

These idiots who are always running hap hazardly all over the place dont last, they get busted and go in and out of jail. One day you just might find yourself sittiing next to them when the cops show up to grab them.

If a dealer tells me 45 minutes or something and then over the course of the next 1 or 2 dealings with him I realize 45 minutes means between 45 minutes and 2 hours and maybe there is a possibility he was waiting on a reup when he told me 45 minutes, I look for another dealer.

If a mechanic told me my car would take 2 days and I came to learn than meant anywhere from 2 days to 9 days I would find another mechanic.
 
Rip my hair out while my mental stability reaches its bitter end... but that was when I had a real bad meth problem, now I only really use opiates and I have dates, not times, when their scripts get filled so I know when exactly they are ready.

Plus I only deal with family or close friends for the most part now, and they never BS me.
 
I will usually call my other dude if the one "aint on". i usually have several people i can get it from but it's always a matter of waiting no matter what. so when im waiting i sit in the car and smoke cigs (which taste nasty when u aint high) and listen to the radio. but phrozen is right about the time thing. Both my dudes are the same way!!! "I'm 2 min. away" when really in reality I'd be sitting there waiting another 20 min on him. LOL I guess they are all the same. i think my dude tells me that cause he dont want me to go score elsewhere!!

Haha that's the best thing to do while you wait. If it's a long drive, which it usually is, I usually bring my textbooks and study.

I always call the guy early to counteract the whole 1 minute = 10 minutes thing dealers got going on. Call you when I'm there? Sure, I'll call you when I'm 20 minutes out and catching a bite at the gas station =D
 
chill out, relax and skin up (don't even use my stuff) while waiting for amphetamine.

normally ring another dealer if its for other drugs.

When making money involves putting yourself at risk for a felony and all of the hassles/really bad shit that a felony will fuck you with......yah, it certainly is kind of a chore. And when you think about it, your dealers doing you a bigger favor than you are him. I mean, even if you're buying like $10,000 worth of drugs....that's still probably not going to equal the lifetime loss of income that a felony would pretty much guarantee. If its just a couple hundred bucks or whatever, why shouldn't you have to wait?

Treat your dealers well, or they just might go away! =D
 
When I was using heroin I would smoke cigarettes like a fiend stopping occasionally to cough up phlegm which sometimes led me to vomit considering how sick I would normally be...... Usually call him twice asking where he was. He usually would say 10 or 15 minutes but was almost always 20, sometimes 5 more than that. Which really isnt bad for dealer time., but when your sick its a lifetime. Which led to shooting in the car more than half of the time...

But once every 5 times or so he would be 5 minutes early and blow my phone up switching were he would meet me, but he always had fat bags and 6 for 50. Which I think is a great deal when its always consistent good quality... because when I lost touch with him for 3 months, I had to go through two other people and only twice was it as good as my normal guy.

Now that I just smoke herb and take percs or methadone sometimes I call my guy and there is certain times of the month I can get each and I know when, and then I call him. He is a 5 mintue drive and he doesnt care if I walk in or out or hang for 4 hours. Weve been good friends for 4 years now. When I get shrooms or cid its usually at a show so I dont have to wait.
 
When I try and score glass it's usually decent amount. Unfortunately, the stuff is rare out here on the East Coast.

The way it's done is there are two of us. Seeing as though I work, I just have my boy wait on the call, run in to grab it when it comes, and I pick it up after work. Not a bad system.

It's not like all dealers make people wait forever on purpose as some sort of game. Sometimes it's up the chain that the snag happens or the deal itself took a lot longer to accomplish.
