What do you consider the HARDEST drugs?

kb6745.jpg

you have to be a pretty HARD core druggie to take that balloon and inhale that SHIT.

I guess I'll go with street grade IV heroin...esp the folds who salt up tar with lemon juice/vinegar...thats pretty harsh bro.

crack and meth go up there too.

Ive done some hardcore stuff and itll get you off your square quick... crack for sure, dope... gotta say that even for banging as much crap as i have in my life i still havent shot PCP. i know its a matter of perspective and maybe its because ive not done that or been exposed to it that it seems pretty nasty to me. i dont know....so... huffing gold paint and bangin PCP! this is coming from some one who bangs 10.2 mg fentanyl patches though...HA HA!

Oh! who could forget that old favorite: shooting up crack thats been broke down with pickle juice... thats eifn up there too!

Crack dissolved in vinegar is way less hard or dirty than unpurified street coke dissolved in water... usually.

Hmm, I probably agree with the main obvious ones with biggest likelihood of addiction and hitting rock bottom - crack, meth and heroin, and perhaps also alcohol when used in large quantities daily.

If it was illegal and not used by pretty much everyone, I would definitely class alcohol as a hard drug due to its terrible body and soul destroying properties. (That's not to say I don't use it tho :/ )

I consider hard drugs to be anything that causes physical harm, horrid withdrawals, or causes the greatest number of people to lose everything they care about in life.

In order:

1. Methamphetamine. Not Desoxyn, but ice, shards, glass, etc. That shit has to be one of the worst things for your body/mind in existence. It depletes your body of vital nutrients, causes physical deterioration over time, and has one of the lowest recovery rates of any drug. Not to mention all the lovely chemicals it contains. (Shudders).

2. Heroin. If not for the question of purity and the fact that so many people inject it, I'd probably have a different opinion of it. It's extremely addictive, causes many overdose deaths, and the whole needle sharing thing spreads disease like no other. Pure, med-grade heroin, taken orally/intranasally and in moderation, would still be a hard drug, but not as harmful.

3. Crack/Freebase. Smokable cocaine that causes an instant "orgasmic" rush? No thanks. Maybe not physically addictive, but the mental draw would be ungodly.

4. Inhalants--gasoline, glue, duster, etc. The most "dangerous" substances; more of a poison than a drug. Something like 30+% of inhalant deaths are by first time users. Scary.

5. PCP. Anything that just makes you go completely out of your mind and body scares me.

6. Ecstasy. Often cut with adulterants ranging from caffeine to meth to DXM and depletes stores of a vital neurotransmitter. The jury's still out on neurotoxicity. While its intoxicating effects are generally benign and even desirable, it can take quite the toll on a person's mental state, memory, moods, and energy after awhile. The stimulant effects obviously aren't any better for the body than those of other stimulants, and the way it makes people grind their teeth, sweat, and roll their eyes back in their heads is just scary. This is a drug you do maybe 5 times over the course of a lifetime, if that.

And finally, alcohol. It's legal, easy to obtain, and carries few of the social stigmas of illegal drugs, but its effects on society are serious. Causes mini-seizures in the brain leading to brain damage over time, cirrhosis of the liver, dangerous withdrawals, alcohol poisoning, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and total loss of inhibitions, which carries risks of its own. You never know how it's going to affect you: maybe you'll be all warm and lovey, maybe you'll cry for 4 hours, maybe you'll start a fight...or worse. I've always hated alcohol...it's right up there with meth in my book.

Sorry so long, and no offense to any afficianados of these drugs.

^actually heroin is very benign on the body and crystal meth should only contain methamphetamine, it has cuts too but what drug doesnt? i think you mean all the nasty chems used to make it, yes i agree those are nasty. and where is cocaine on your list? i agree the crack cocaine is more likely to get you addicted quicker than insufflation but regular coke isnt even on the list?? cocaine is one of most heavily cut substances out there today and is horrible on your body, just as bad as meth.

I always thought heroin was the WORST drug ever and I would NEVER, EVER do it..

Turns out, Im nodding so hard right now I cant focus. Go fuckin figure.

In my mind to put it simply the first drugs that I think of when I think of "Hard Drugs" would be:
1.Heroin
2.Crack
3.Methamphetamine
4.PCP

Tryptamite: dont post that fucking shit in here. dont post anything in this forum in general if you cant answer a question seriously.

i would say heroin, meth, crack is what i would first think when i think 'hard.'

the strong opiates such as heroin, dilaudid & another that has a huge potency i cant recall the name
crystal meth, crack.. those are the most commonly thought of anyway.
its all moderation though i guess

lady codone: synthetic intermediates have no bearing on the final product. Many many drugs are made with toxic and nasty chemicals, even benign/non abusable drugs. Thats the one myth I hate about meth. Yes, its additctive, bad for you, probably neurotoxic, ect. Bu the synthetic intermediates used in its production have ZERO bearing on that.

I'm sure hydroiodic acid and sodium hydroxide are used in many products...hell sodium hydroxide is used to control PH/add a bitter flavour in candies!
