What do you consider the HARDEST drugs?

Hard drugs would be shit like diethyl ether, chloroform, atropine, ethanol... and IV street meth/coke. Some barbiturates can be pretty hard too.

Rehh

Meth (amphetamines)
Alcohol
Temazepam
Nimetazepam
High powered opioids (Morphine, Heroin, Oxycodone Oxymorphone, fentanyl, hydromorphone, etc etc)
Cocaine
Barbiturates
PCP
GHB
Quaaludes

IMO

Well nicotine is a lot harder of a drug than heroin then.

Also, why is GHB in your list of hard drugs?

1. No, not really. Nicotine is about as 'hard' as cocaine, which isn't as 'hard' as heroin IMO
2. High abuse potential and fatal withdrawal symptoms, high amount of adverse effects...

i guess pretty much this^^^. but its funny, i can control my use of heroin/crack/coke/OCs better than i can control my use of lyrica/gabapentin, lol. i eat lyrica like fucking candy, and i will eat as many as i have.

so i guess by this definition lyrica is "harder" thank crack/heroin!

I'd have to agree with gorgoroth's list for the most part, plus some more. Although the question is what exactly consistutes 'hard'? (No more input please, Tryptamite ;)) The amount you crave it, why you crave it (psych vs physical), the scene revolving around it, availability, stigma, law? Really anything can get the best of some people. And addictive tendencies and biochemistry varies heavily from person to person, but everyone knows that.

I'll just be really vague and unhelpful: high powered GABAnergic drugs, high powered CNS stimulants, high powered opioid analgesics, highly potent or dissociative hallucinogens, high powered...other psychoactive stuff...uh...but where does one draw the line and categorize 'high powered' for that matter?

The first drug I ever did (minus beer n cigs) was heroin, so I can't say there is any drug I promised myself I wouldn't do (actually it was quite the opposite), EXCEPT the ones I knew weren't going to do anything pleasant in the first place, so I wouldn't waste my time on them (the only drug I still use that is completely fucking useless: nicotine. :\)

There, I tried to answer a really difficult and subjective question with the least amount of typing. =D

Things that are borderline are Ketamine, benzodiazepines (except the two I mentioned which I consider 'hard' drugs), Nicotine, MDMA (Ecstasy), Dxm, phenethylamines, methylphenidate.
In my opinion.
