This is interesting, and I'm intrigued as to the outcome.
So often, people are caught in the mindset of not wanting to let their partner become "the one that got away"
But moving on from relationships often open doors that were never thought to have been existent.
Breaking up from one relationship can lead to new opportunities that would have never presented themselves within the confines of a full-committal relationship. For example, moving overseas to live and work, having the ability to go out and meet new people, establishing new hobbies, traveling, and last, but not least, meeting someone who better matches you as a person.
I wonder...did the OP end up moving on to bigger and better things?
