What did you do to get off your butt today? vs. "Butt's off the floor!"

aint been to the gym since november and it's been killing me. ... lost a lot of gains, been called skinny by a few different people.. finally got a chance to hit my small apartments gym downstairs tonight.

surprisingly, i didn't lose as much as my strength as i did my size. had a good chest, lats and tricep workout.
 
5-5-5-2 deadlifts, with 10 x 24" unstable box jump immediately after each set

400m jog
4 x [200m sprint + 200m jog]
400m jog
 
^^ Nice! Are they good workouts? What kind of stuff do you do in them?
They are awesome. Mainly targeted to stomach, hips and thighs (as they are my personal target spots).

I do Sumo Squats; Lunges; Running Arms; Double and Single Knee Punch High Jogging; Thigh Kicks and loads of others. I don't know if they're widely recognized moves, I'll try to YouTube some for everyone's reference.

It's high intensity interval training, and like Tabata has me sweating and working hard for the entire time. :D
 
Ran a few miles, and found the P90X stretching dvd that I thought I lost so I popped that in for an hour.

5 x compound overhead press + 5 x regular overhead press

7 x compound arm raise
7 x shoulder swing
7 x side arm raise
7 x front arm raise

3 supersets
5 x pull-up + 10 x front pulldown
ended with front pulldown burnout/drop set
 
I have started walking to work every morning. Only takes 30-45 minutes and I noticed that I have a lot more energy during the day now.

It does. I just weighed myself this morning also, I have lost 7 pounds since I started doing this and that's without really changing my diet.. not a bad bonus. When it gets a little warmer out I am going to start walking home also.
