What did you do to get off your butt today? vs. "Butt's off the floor!"

I JUST started lifting again after a 3 week hiatus due to my rotator cuff. There's no way I'm going to stop again for some faggy cold/flu.

If I die, you can have my collector's edition Wonder Years DVD box set. <3

Can I have your club? :P

I'd rest up a while, man. At least a couple days. Don't eat a lot, drink lots of water and rest. You could prolong the sickness if you exercise.

TY bb. <3

In all seriousness, you should try to get more sleep and take Ecinacea supplements. Also lemon and ginger drinks are meant to assist with colds and flu.
Echinacea increases levels of properdin, a chemical which activates the part of the immune system responsible for increasing defence mechanisms against virus and bacteria attacks.

Try to take it easy if you can work and work-out wise. That way you'll hopefully recover quicker.

How many of you still exercise when you're sick? I just came down with something but don't want to skip my routine today.

i usually do a light aerobic workout to get the blood pumpin, but i try not to put in more than 50% effort. general rule of thumb i've heard is that an illness above the neck is fine (headache, sinuses, etc.), but if you have anything below the neck (chest cough, stomach flu) you'd be better off laying low.

^^ Nice! Are they good workouts? What kind of stuff do you do in them?

Danced for a couple hours last night.
I love claiming a night of dancing as a "workout" =D

Today I had my first ever proper personal training session. Holy mackerel, she absolutely smashed me!!! :D She's got me doing Tabata training. The workout only went for like 25 mins, but I haven't worked that hard for months and I was pouring with sweat the whole time. SO GOOD!! I can definitely feel that doing this type of training is going to get good results, fast.
