I did a 1/2 ass workout today. I've had the flu so I havnt worked out for the last 4 days.
Today I did mainly machines, shoulder press, chest press, seated row and preaches curl. A bit disappointed being 10 kgs off my normal workout weight but I had to do something.

Yesterday I went into the hotel gym. The stupid treadmill was broken, so I used the cross-trainer and bike. Didn't feel like I did a 'proper' workout - somehow running seems to make me feel 100% exhausted and anything else pales in comparison. :(

You're not the only one--I had a friend like that in high school who didn't feel like she did any exercise unless it was running. Although she took it to an unhealthy extreme...

2 hour hill hike last night, gonna try and repeat it today but in a different place

been in a cell all day til an hour ago so I done load of exercise to pass the time

50 squats
150 dips
20 isometric pressups
50 calf raises
60 shrugs
full body isometrics
aaaaaand finishing with a bit of yoga, shadow boxing and isotonics

can you explain your isometric exercises for me rough jack, i always took isometric to mean that the range of motion is static. that is, you aren't moving, but rather contracting the muscle(s) in a set position. ergo, a repetition would be measured in how many seconds or minutes that contraction is held.

myself, i haven't worked out yet today. it's early yet.

Did 3.5 yesterday in 92F heat and I forgot the important rule of running in the heat - don't tie your shoes too tight!

Tied my shoes as I normally would, but the heat made my feet expand moreso than usual. There were several points on the run where I got these hot flashes which made my feet feel like they were on fire.

We did another run this morning, but I forgot to take my inhaler before we set off. Ended up being about of a waste, as we turned back early and I walked a few times because my chest was so tight. :\

I put my inhaler in my running shoes afterwards to stop me forgetting to take it again.

22 kung fu forms in continuous succession (my teacher knows 64!). many reps of self defense techniques. some hand conditioning exercises. been in direct sunlight all morning 2 weekends in a row now, im still very pale lol.

I did 3 sets of chin-ups. Im doing fairly good with them now. I started doing only one set of 8. This time I did 10 , 8, and 7. :)
