Misc What did I do to my stomach??.. Acid-reflux for 3 days straight.

I got wasted and passed out on Saturday night. It's now Tuesday night I've had really bad acid-reflux for almost 3 nights. I've gotten really drunk before but I've never had this before. I had about 700mg of MDMA on the night as well, but I'm not sure how that would cause this. Basically its just really uncomfortable to eat, like it burns really bad. So bad that I struggle to eat.

Has anyone else had this? Should I go to the docotor?

I have that problem too, but only if I drink a case of beer a day and continue that for several days...

Just take some antacids or a teaspoonful of baking soda dissolved in water when the burn gets bad. Unless it lasts for over a week or you're puking blood or somethin like that, its probably not a reason to see a doctor.

EDIT: 700 mg of MDMA ??? How pure was the stuff? The usual dose of pure MDMA is about 80-120 mg.

And yeah I went way overboard with the MDMA. It was pure stuff. But I learnt my lesson (..harsh come-down)

could be a stomach ulcer, take some antacid and see how you go... if it hasnt gone away in a bit best to go see a doc
If it is, it wouldnt be caused by the mdma i dont think though.

I had a mild one for about 9 months, didnt notice any of the symptoms they tell you to look out for (dark/black vom, dark/black poop), no stomach pain or anything.. barely any reflux, although i went off soda.

but after 9 months of ever so slight bleeding I was white as a ghost, had 1/3 as many red blood cells as i shouldve.

I had black vomit on the Saturday night. I assumed it was from the rum and coke i was drinking.

Black vomit with solid coffee-ground like material in it is a sign of bleeding in the stomach. If that happens more than once, its definitely a reason to see a doctor.

Chronic acid-reflux like irritation is called esophagitis.

Did you test it? if it was really "pure stuff" like SR quality then 700 mg itself would have been enough to have a serious overdose and the night would have ended with you in the hospital. about the stomach problem, eat healthy, vitimans, and by all means if you puke "black stuff/ (blood)" by all means go to the doctor.

^ agree about the possibility of not being pure, but I have known/been with people taking 700+mg mdma for 'fun' (after taking into account that it wasnt pure), they had never been to hospital for it.. although I dont think anyone unhealthy or with heart issues would be well off taking that much. also consider it could have been taken over the course of the night, rather than dumped all at once.

Jesus that sounds horribly uncomfortable. All I can add that hasn't been said is, please make sure and drink A LOT of water. You are no doubt dehydrated after all of that. Hope you feel better soon!!

700mg of MDMA is extremely excessive. I definitely wouldn't repeat. At doses that high, the potential for side effects skyrockets.

Secondly, I would see a doctor. You may have an ulcer, however there's no way to know for sure without seeing a physician. "Coffee ground" / black vomit is a sign of an ulcer.

Please get checked out.

Aside from damage to the stomach, severe acid reflux can be a liver sign. Alcohol and MDMA is a very toxic combination for the liver, especially with the dosage of MDMA you are taking.

If you're vomiting brown or black and it's very bitter, that's a sign of a stomach ulcer or some kind of enteric damage.
