What did he try ? (Rock?)

Ok, my friend met a guy that said could hook him up with some "Rock" ...

First of all, my friend has never done any of the "harder" drugs so he had no idea wtf "Rock" meant, but still went with the flow cuz he really needed a fix of just anything that day and was feeling adventurous.

So my friend get's the "Rock", its a small white (maybe a little off-white / vanilla color) jagged cube, the size of maybe 1cmx1cm (maybe a little smaller). So the guy he was with pulls out a pipe that looks like a straight glass tube with a black end on it were you put the rock on and light it while inhaling., the smoke was cloudy white.
When my friend tried it , he felt pretty good, and mellow, and his heart started to pick up a bit. He remembers feeling good and just alert but calm at the same time.

Yes, my friend is a noob at this ( his first time ),
BUT he wants to know what exactly it was that he tried ?

So, I think it's a bit of a no-no here in to attempt to identify substances, and I apologise if I'm breaking any rules by answering the question, but crack cocaine is most likely the "rock" your friend consumed. Crack is referred to as rock, and is a white crystal smoked through a straight glass tube. Your friend has most certainly done hard drugs now.

We werent there so we cant know . If "your friend" doesn't even know, how could we know ? If "your friend" didn't get high then I doubt if it was crack . Or if it was, it was shitty crack. Bottom line is theres no way we can know .
