What could these symptoms mean?

My sister is a 32 year old mother of 2. Her youngest is 5. She hasn't had any serious health problems up to this point in her life. She eats healthy and exercises. She just got off of her period Saturday. A few minutes ago she called to ask me if I could give her any insight as to what could be wrong with her. She said about 3 nights ago she was getting the kids ready for bed, when she experienced vertigo. Followed by that she got very irritable. She said she went to bed and when she woke up the next day she felt great, better than in a long time. She went to bed that night slept poorly, woken up by what she described as strange visions. The since then she has felt strange, restless, not herself. She said just in the last day or so she has noticed that her pupils won't dilate. She also said today she has a metallic taste in her mouth. Those are all of the symptoms she related to me. She is a regular pot smoker, but says she hasn't even had the desire to this week. She said she smoked a little yesterday, hoping it would mellow her out, with no success. She said the previous week she was taking a very low dosage of xanax before bed. She is not a daily user typically, but does take xanax occasionally. The past few weeks have been really stressful for her. I am thinking it could be somewhat related. She has experienced vertigo before on a few occasions, but was typically able to associate it with something she had taken. I could tell by her voice today she was sad or shaken by how she feels. She called me because she knows she can tell me anything without me rushing to judgment on her, so I believe her when she says she hasn't been taking anything else. Can anyone give me some ideas of what could cause her to feel this way. She is especially worried about her pupils and the metallic taste. Thanks in advance.

It could be a severe mineral deficiency. Why doesn't she go to a doctor? They'll know.
