I'd second DMT though, much much more visual than LSD.
I'm not sure if I can jump on that band wagon. I've dived into LSD a respectable amount of time to be considered experienced, but I will admit I've always stayed below 4 blotters (of above average blotter) up until this past year. Even with consuming 3 hits, if weed is combined the visual field becomes extremely vivid (dark, almost solid) on par with a 60mg smoked DMT experience, especially CEVs. Recently I've taken over 4 hits at a time of both potent liquid and some of the best blotters I've seen, and the visual experiences, especially the more recent one (~1-1.5 month ago), thrusted me with some of the most vivid and flowing open eye hallucinations I've ever seen. I mean, seeing women made out of strands (almost like the flow of Japanese characters I believe) of beautiful geometric patterns walk out of your bath tube only to shatter as she hit the floor, sending sparks across the room, hasn't been matched by any DMT OEVs. That 8 hours and a strong residual 3-4 was strongly dominated with visuals (surprisingly little anxiety or mindfuck during this experience.
I must say, throwing DMT and LSD together creates one hell of a visual field. The only time I've done it I took 4 hits of liquid LSD, and multiple doses of DMT as follows, 40mg, 20mg (+5minutes), and finally 70mg (+10minutes). I didn't have my eye open other than the first 45 seconds (it looked like my body turned into that of an indigenous shaman oddly enough), but the splendor that was the CEV or rather a full immersive ego-dissolving experience was one that I still can hardly fathom. The visual field was massive, extending beyond my peripheral, but still maintained an overpowering presence that let you know just how magnificent of magnitude it was. The intensity of colors was crazy, such pure and bright whites mixed with glimmering shades of color that extends beyond my formed concepts. The experience was 3d but maintained an almost odd perceptual experience, as it was if it was on a 2d plane. Basically, as I know I'm just rambling on, this combo was probably the most intense visual experience I've had with psychedelics.
