What chill/laid-back music have you been listening to?

CDs
Bonobo - Animal Magic
Bluetech - The Divine Invasion

Songs
Bonobo - Days To Come
Sigur Ros - Svefn-g-englar, Staralfur, Untitled #3 (Samskeyti)
Telefon Tel Aviv - The Birds, Your Mouth
Thievery Corporation - Lebanese Blonde, Heavens Gonna Burn Your Eyes, Omid (Hope), All That We Perceive

I wish those bands had full CDs I could kick back and enjoy like Bonobo and Bluetech :\

Not sure if you remember but I've asked you music similar to freescha or casino versus japan and you listed cabon based lifeforms and singel cell orchestra.

funny, i do remember suggesting casino versus japan to you but not the others :D

here are some of the artists i've been listening to/playing out lately:

hunterz
roger abboud
mazachigno
kush arora
pardesi
innais
kosta lois
j. skillz
B-21
jinder jinda
angel tears
feedel
oforia
tigerstyle
wax tailor
dalvinder singh
all india radio
labh janjua
amir jamal
rara avis
steve dragon
sonicjoy
thunderball
naked rhythm
transglobal underground

most of this stuff is indian/eastern/bhangra/bellydance type of music. it's good for people who are ready to move beyond thievery corp, which is basically Downtempo 101 ;)

^ I basically agree with that. The Mirror Conspiracy was definitely my gateway to bhangra, bossa nova, and dub. But I barely listen to it anymore.

Been listening to a lot of Karsh Kale recently. He produces some pretty mindblowing music that's great in the background for heavy studying.

finally got copies of the secret of the thirteen crystal skulls and the mystery of the thirteen crystal skulls

my friend introduced me to this great breaky/glitchy/downtempo artist around the holidays last year, and i was just listening again and felt inclined to share the dopeness:

:metaphor: - "historic pathways of awakening" - [addictech]

i have 'for the moon' and 'truffle shuffle' in my crates but the whole album sounds pretty sick.

if you're a fan of kilowatts, pitch black, timonkey, etc. then you'll probably like :metaphor: :)
