What exactly causes the opiate itch? It's awful right now. It usually isn't this bad. Also why am I more itchy right now (to the point where its really Fucking annoying) and other times it isn't as bad (I even somewhat like it sometimes)

Sorry missed the second part of your question - yes it can have a cumulative effect, the more you dose the worse it can get. Its a really common side effect and most people just take an anti histamine as a matter of course.
Luckily my friend gets the same problem (well, most people do) but she's going to give me an anti histamine

the only thing about antihistamines like diphenhydramine is that while some people say they potentiate the nod they really just make me super tired, and I don't want to pass out and miss my high.
That's true, I don't nod out as hard as my boyfriend, but even nodding out is nice because it's not really sleep but you aren't awake either. also my boyfriend and I get hallucinations when we nod which makes it even cooler. I would hate falling asleep and wasting the high. that's why I hate taking Xanax other than to come down from meth. Shit just knocks me out. I'm not 100% sure it was my friend who mentioned this because my minds groggy right now but I think she mentioned something about getting me a spray for the itch too
