What broken-up band do you miss the most?

I can't believe no one mentioned a little band called FUGAZI. Boy did they rock hard.

Other than that...

Dismemberment Plan
Happy Mondays
Stone Roses (Though Ian Brown's solo work is pretty good)
My Bloody Valentine
Talking Heads

Yup.

Some that have been mentioned:

Beta Band
The Stone Roses
Olivia Tremor Control
Pink motherfucking Floyd of course

Little obscure:

Dirty On Purpose (original line up)
Granddaddy
The Brian Jonestown Massacre (whatever fucking lineup they have today)
Elliott Smith (suicide/death breaks a lot of shit up)
Dresden Dolls (Bryan seems to be out of the picture)

Too too many bands. I miss the big ones that we can't see due to death of band members such as The doors , the beatles , nirvana , alice in chains.
But groups that are still alive and actually CAN reform eventually I want to see L7 and black sabbath w/ ozzy spring to mind.
...got to see the pixies last year!:)

Sleater-Kinney
Slant 6
Elastica

Hey, where'd that lady with awesome taste in music go to?. :(

I concur. ;)

I'd also like to add...

Autoclave

and Helium
heliumband.jpg

Jawbreaker
Jets To Brazil
The Promise Ring
Kid Dynamite
Avail
Isis
Sunny Day Real Estate
At The Drive-In
Operation Ivy
Fugazi
Christiansen
Jazz June
Snapcase

I am sure that there is more but that is what I get off the top of my head.

Too many to mention, though Black Flag, Hüsker and Samhain come to mind right now (maybe because it's Monday). Along with Felt and Denim of course, though that goes without saying.

No reunions please; some things were meant to be ephemeral. Amen.

The Stone Roses n The Smiths but no re unions cos it'd spoil everything
Happy Mondays as well
I see plenty other peeps feel the same.
I also used 2 love Radiohead after hearing ther latest Album they might not have broken up but they are definatley Broken n need fixing

At The Drive-In

I think it's the most mentioned band on this list. Rightly so.

... It was time for FUGAZI to end, but they were good. Ian McKaye has a new band.
I went to a show and it sucked so I threw an unopened beer at him. There is some poetic justice to that.

I never got to see a CLASH show, but how I wish I could.
I would seriously give up a finger to be able to see them live in their prime.
