What benzo will a doctor prescribe for taking everyday for 2 months?

Im on lorazepam and am gonna ask if i can take a benzo that will be good to take for the last 2 months of my senior year.

Lexapro didnt work at all and ativan works great.

Don't expect it to keep working after 2 months of continuous use. Benzodiazepines are made for short-term usage and will build depndence quite rapidly.

To be honest I don't think a doctor would prescribe one for two months but if it's for anxiety purposes I would guess a longer-acting benz like klonopin or valium.

Are you asking about a benzo to take in addition to your lorazepam? From what I'm gathering, you are already taking a benzo.

a doctor could prescribe anything for 2 months. just because it is horribly stupid and harmful does not mean you will not walk out of a doc office with a script for 60 X 10mg valium with 4 or 5 refills.

you relatively new to benzos? if you learn how to get docs to write them, you are starting a long-term relationship.

This type of thread isn't allowed here -- we cannot tell you what your doctor will prescribe you, nor tell you what to say to your doctor to get any prescriptions. Lexapro is an SSRI and meant to be taken daily, and lorazepam (ativan) is already a benzo, and you already have a prescription for it.

If you mean senior year of HS, that means you're 17-18 yrs old and starting on daily benzos now is really not a good idea, since you won't learn how to deal with your anxiety without drugs and will end up relying on a pill to make you feel better from such a young age.
