What Are You Prescribed? v. Gimme The Good Stuff, Doc.

Honestly suboxone is only so effective for pain. Not sure which is more effective but kratom helps a bit.
i got some from my frend last month and was pain free for the time being,i wouldnt take it every day, i know its not the best but it's better than mustle relaxers

2 morphine er 15 mg plus 2oxy 10 mg per day thru a pain management dr. constant struggle to make last. any suggestions have gababetin around will that help( bunches of it) grateful but never seems enough!!

Gabapentin will potentiate the opioids. But has an unusual BA and tolerance builds extremely quickly so it is best saved for occasional use when you really need them.

It's going to sound silly but have you tried taking paracetamol/apap or ibuprofen along with the morphine and oxy? I always found it surprising how much analgesia can be had from them.
In fact there are certain pains that I find can be treated far more effectively with NSAIDs rather than opioids. I wouldnt even bother taking opioids for tooth ache, nerve pain (only ever had it in my jaw/face), or head aches. In some cases they've made the pain a lot worse. Head aches for example, any amount opioids no matter how large or small makes them 10 times worse while ibuprofen can clear them completely with a single 600mg dose. Same goes for tooth ache. I've had several issues with my molars over the years, mostly due to a few broken teeth that had been weakened by fillings. All the repeated trauma lead to a mild case of neuralgia (or at least that's what I've been told there's a chance it might be 😕 always nice to have a definite answer, isn't it?) Opioids are extremely hit and miss when killing this pain. Sometimes they work a bit, other times they make it a bit worse. So depending on the user and type/cause of pain you may get a fair bit of relief from basic OTC meds.

10mg - diazepam
150mg - pregabalin (I don’t use it except for rare occasions) PRN
10 fentanyl lollies PRN
Sublingual fentanyl PRN

Holy shit. This is likely to be the best script Ive ever seen

Used to be on xanax 4mg/day and pregabalin 600mg/day (brain damage from these times)
Nowadays 5mg zyprexa per day and 300mg depakote per day

I do have a condition that causes me to dislocate most of my joints lol. I wouldn’t hold down a job without my pain meds. The benzos are for muscle relaxation as I can spasm badly after a dislocation. Pregabalin is for nerve pain, I only take it when really needed because it turns your brain to mush. Fent lollies are for bad dislocations as is the sublingual, mostly for the rib dislocations because they are really painful and it takes a while to manipulate them back in.

I don’t abuse any of my meds other than maybe take a pregabalin the odd time for some motivation.

Yeah, I respect that. It would at best ruin your tolerances and at worst kill you. Good that you have proper medications as you seem to have more than one pain condition. Shame.

40mg citalopram/day (anxiety)

300mg bupropion (XR)/day (depression)

2x 300mg gabapentin/day (because it makes me feel less gross and my doc is just happy I stopped bugging him for benzos)

25mg quetiapine/15 a month (sleep)

40mg pantoprazole/every other day (WICKED HEARTBURN YO)

Just moved, reconnecting with an old doctor... going to try and get back on 7.5mg/night zopiclone.
i like the gabapentin part,
i was on benzos for years, im on gabapentin now, im less of a nutjob cuz i could i benzo correctly

70mg elvanse(vyvanse),Lyrica,insomin(nitrazepam)deprakine(valproic acid),RXulti(serotonin&dopamine stimulator)olanzapine

At the moment I'm prescribed omeprazole for my chronic gastritis due to acid reflux. Codeine 15mg 100 tabs and folic acid as I'm deficient.
I've just finished a prescription course of vitamin D and continuing with the otc dosages. The only good stuff is the codeine I suppose but for me it's there for emergencies as I use other opioids daily.
I can get stuff like promethazine otc here but I never found it to be a potentiator really. All it does is add to the sedation as it's a depressant in itself. It's good for me for nausea when I get it due to my gastritis.
I was diagnosed as moderately depressed but I've refused meds so far as I'm worried about possible interactions with stuff I use and opioids already help somewhat with that at the moment.

alprazolam 6mg a day 3x2mg
clonazepam 2mg daily
Diazepam 20mg twice daily
omeprazole 80mg daily (had a recent surgery)
morphine 10mg 3x times a day
D-amp usually but because of my surgery Vyvanse instead of IR

I've found one doctor who is fine with seeing me only occasionally and is pretty open about scripting me anything she won't lose her license or get called out by the DEA for (she literally said this when I asked her to change my meds too frequently).

I'm not super thankful

45 mg Dextro-Amphetamine a day (which I don't take atm)
1000 mg Levetiracetam, which I take religiously.
2.5 mg Midazolam nose spray in case of an (upcoming) seizure, one spray in each nostril so 5 mg. Burn's as hell, and I still wonder what is wrong with Lorazepam sublingual as the seizure's occur after 2 night's awake in the morning. And I feel them coming up?

90mg Nefopam
600mg gabapentin
20mg omeprazole
30mg baclofen
15mg Co-codamol (codeine) as required
5mg buprenorphine (slow release weekly patch)
20mg fluoxetine
1.25mg Bisopralol (beta blocker)
Temazepam and diazepam if I ask nicely, but that's not on repeat
And of course laxido as needed!

I've been trying to get baclofen forever. It's really the only thing that helps with my shakes but doctors won't come off it for me it's annoying. I guess cause I'm on other stuff, but it's not really an abusable med so I don't get it.
I had to be referred to the hospital pain clinic where the specialist recommended baclofen and butrans, only then was my normal doctor allowed to prescribe them. Or that was how it seemed to me.

Concerta and Lyrica. The latter is pretty new (few months). Very glad with this combo. Can't think what I would like to add to it.

Real opioide would be great, but it is not an option, given Concerta is already controlled substance.
