What are you munching on? v. the cheese n' fish cake crew

Chicken Kung Po, didn't like it though. Was sauce from a jar and far too thick, gloopy and syrupy.
 
Making tomato soup from fresh but getting OCD about the right balance of tart sweet n fresh... Tis stressing me! Something is missing to make this so called simpls recipe perfect quite possible a slice of tambo-troll. In the meantime we're going hungry lol
 
Sauces from jars are dogshit and not very good for you.

Once I'd added the "cream" to the cream of tomato - as in milk with a little cornflour it all of a sudden became perfect %) V tasty with granary bread.
 
Is that how they do it? Make it creamy? Wow. I can totally empathise with the OCD seasoning thang, I've spent a long time this evening trying to balance this bloody chilli. I utterly ruined a pizza sauce which was slightly too salty a few weeks ago when I read online that you could add a little bicarb to reduce salinity. Just a tiny pinch and there was lots of fizzing and it suddenly tasted bizarre and wrong.

Sugar.

It balances the acidity ( a must with tomato heavy recipes) and saltiness if you ott on that. Too sweet? - consider adding a few drops of balsamic vinegar to your savoury.
 
A Flake. After that (and before), a joint of primo bud. Flake'n bake, lol.

Cheers! I had already added sugar and was wary of any more but I'll remember the vinegar tip. I will never, ever add bicarb to a sauce again.
 
An english muffin, grilled, one side covered with melted mature cheddar and tabasco, with a very flat and carefully poached free range egg and some rocket placed inside it. Pinch o'salt, a little pepper. Heaven. There are two or three eggs on the floor because of the etizolam.
 
Sweetcorn & chilli soup for lunch and about to eat meatball & pasta melt for dinner!

Weird cravings for a McDonalds breakfast Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin, aka, The FartMaster.

Thankfully the nearest McD's is over 10 mile away so can't succumb.
 
Fucking starving myself and am over a mates wide awake and they like their sleep so brain is bit fried from the acid yesterday, think I ate a slice of pizza at like 3am although I had been up since 3the night before, quite hungry, I would go on a munchrun but shop is like 3 miles away and it's their parents house so don't wanna be rummaging in people's cupboards!

And I need baccy and a skin as I've ran out and have a jar of weed next to me!! Arrgghh
 
Just had a great big fry up cooked for me by my wife amd daughter....I'm a lucky, happy man :)
