That doesn't sound very appetising, especially when you're trying to recover from the lurgy <3

Never cooked a turkey leg on its own (only as part of the rest of the bird) monsta, sounds pretty tasty may have to give it a try.

Man did dinner tonight, so it was pizza and salad. Dishes and all were dealt with so no complaints here :)

how long have you been ill for? seems like you've been ill for weeks n weeks

munching on loads of veg, egg mayo and salmon with some chillis

I always ate them that way anyway but I haven't had one inn years.

There were fresh tiger prawns half price in the supermarket so I made red Thai soup with them. The baby loved it she kept saying what's that its delicious, she didn't half make a mess though so its fish fingers for her the next time.

Do you still get the dark chocolate bounties?

I totally agree about gnawing the chocolate outside bit by bit, getting a largish sheet off is rather pleasurable - before starting on the innards. Doing so elegantly is an art from. Trying it with a creme egg takes the concept too far...

I once knew a group of rugby players that used to stick creme eggs up their arse when they were on the lash after a match.

Whomever's (er? grammar correction probably necessary ...) egg 'burst n leaked' first, they had to buy the first round for the whole team! ...

red bounty bars [the dark ones] seem to of vanished. same as Cabana bars ... which used to be my ultimate fave. I have come to the conclusion that Facebook's only one redeeming feature is their 'bring back XXX' campaign groups, liked by so many folks ... there's one for cabana I think.

gannetsarewe, you will be pleased to know that i have been converted to drinking certain beers from a glass!

from my recent trip to bruges

Those photos are beer porn, I have a friend in Brussels who keeps asking me over looking at those pics I am tempted to book on the spot. pray tell why I should be pleased though, did I post on the subject.

I think what makes it even more appealing is the price. even in the indian restaurant i went to, the Westmalle 9+% beer was only 4euros a glass [that's a pittance compared with how glorious it tasted!], and the other Duvel one in the bar was only 3 or 4 euros a bottle, which is remarkably cheap for a 7+% beer imo .. perfectly chilled too - which is something else i've adjusted to, as normally I've not felt the need to chill my dark beers so much (and prefer them not too cold)... but now i know to chill blondes after visiting Belgium.

that and adopting a glass with them. it makes a perfect combo for beer.

yeah the only beers I store in the fridge are pilsers and wheat beers, stouts are best at room temp, biters and dark ales at garage temp and most other beers slightly chilled

A kolache sausage and cheese. Its so very good. Example- like a sweet bread with cheese and sausage inside :)

I dunno if you've got a mousewheel, but if you have you can make all those little tubs (of what, posh ice cream?) do a kind of dance by zooming in and out on them. Or perhaps this is another effect of my new spectacles.
