noticed after upping my oily fish intake by a lot and using omega 3 supplements my thought clarity has been a lot better

Are you sure that isn't the mxe afterglow? ;) Really though - how do you know, how are you measuring that?

I had a chicken hot pot in the slow cooker all day, loads of veg in it - it was supposed to be healthy & good, but came home from work and it smelt like something out of the Good Life's 1970's compost heap :|

:!

Man saved the day by ordering takeaway Indian yum yum, had patia n' jaipur'ry thing.

Fried some Onions, then got some New Potatoes and Carrots that I mashed up slightly, then added some really lush Turkey.
Then added a bit of Salt, Pepper and chicken stock and a small spoon of Apple Sauce....

It's like the Fry-Up of Kings %)

i dont know for certain, but i used to take them a lot a few years ago and my thought clarity was better. cant really explain though. could be a placebo, maybe not. its like my thoughts are "louder" or some shit. only seems to happen after awhile of taking them, probably the best supplement ive ever taken. used to take a lot of supps before all my healthy eating, got loads of them. take piracetam now and again. need to start on the milk thistle, my liver must have taken a right old battering from the vodka over the years

as kate said mate, placebo...it's good for you, I eat fresh mackerel about 2-4 times a week (and by that I mean about 4-6 fish a day 2-4 times a week) in the summer, in the winter I just eat a couple of cans a week, maybe 3 or 4....

My thought clarity is always, unclear.

But if it maker you *think* your thought clarity is much better, then that's just as good as if it really is much better, clearer, hope that's clarified things for you... :?

that does sound good monsta!
Im cooking Garlic Chicken breasts and spinnach and ricotta pasta and a side salad,
Sounds good to me :D

Plus Mrs BCF is b ringin me home some beer :)

could be placebo, perhaps not, read a lot of stuff about how good it is for brains, must be some sort of proof behind it. although obv its a selling gimmick to get people to buy omega 3 caps. but yeah i get what you mean. just feels like it removes mental fog... but only after awhile of taking it. but fuck knows

also read that too much tuna is bad... too much mercury and stuff, dunno how much they class as "too much", a tin a day should be fine shouldnt it?

tuna is "bad" in my books for sustainability reasons, and fishing methods....eat mackerel instead, same family...fresh raw mackerel is beautiful thinly sliced with ginger and soy sauce raw, just like tuna....in all honestly I prefer mackerel.

omega 3 is definitely good for your brain, you're right, it's proven, but I doubt there would be any noticeable change in your outlook based on increasing your intake, it's more of a protective thing as far as I'm aware.....

righto, gonna have to get me some mackerel,

time for a green tea, fish, beetroot and red cabbage binge. i'll be a superhero by the end of this. the four eyed Beetroot binge bastard they'll call me, the more beetroot i eat the more powerful i become. soon ill be unstoppable, wait n see

Every time I eat salmon which is at least once a week I feel guilty now Mr Monkey because of you :(

cheap n' farmed guilty...

Dan eating too much of anything isn't good for yeh - balance is necessary. Better to have a wide ranging & varied diet than stick to the same things over and over.

Maccy Dees breakfast today on the way home from the club. It's what everyman needs when he's pissed and it's 7am.

nice and healthy breakfast consisting of a tesco's sausage roll, can of relentless and some cigarettes

Is that true for pole and line caught skipjack tuna? I'm led to believe skipjack tuna reporduce quite rapidly, and pole and line fishing is generally seen as sustainable...?

It's blue and yellow fin tuna caught by purse seining that's the real problem, and a lot of that fish goes to eastern markets and is unlikely to be found in tinned tuna. Even value tinned tuna is pole and line skipjack these day I think.

Regardless, mackerel is pretty delicious so no reason to stop eating that!

Turkey Fajitas for me tonight :) Nomnom.
This is the same Turkey leg that I used to make my sort-of-fry-up. It was a huge joint!
And still dead tender and moist, so it should literally fall apart when it's had a bit of a cooky-stewing in spices and tomatoes and all that lovely Fajita goodness
~[^.^]~

just bout to munch on a chicken and sweetcorn sandwich from tesco, washed down with some water

no appetite today at all
