I'm eating Fruit Pastilles, having a fucking love afair with these things at the moment...forgot how good they are <3

A week off work almost so far, and eating lots of sweets, starting to look like Alan Partridge at the height of his toblerone addiction

I'm surprised Mr Monkey, that you like sweets so much, didn't have you down as a confectioner lover. Puddings maybe but candy...

Had a pissy chicken and bacon salad with alleged honey and mustard dressing. Hungry again now, already scoffed the in-room shortbread too...
 
Some chips and more baguette and cheese. Baguette and cheese again tonight, these over priced cheese slices need put to good use.
 
Last night I spent £25 on cheese (blue and non- blue), bread (a baguette), veggie paté, crisps, some kind of lentil dip, some chocolate and lime biscuits, Fentiman's cola (I love it) and some coleslaw! It was fucking nice but I wish I'd taken photos as it would be good to relive the memories. Oh yeah there were some Montezuma chocolate brownies in there too which were fucking amazing!

I fucking love anchovies, fresh anchovey season is just about ending round here, but next year Dan, get down yer fishmongers and get a load of anchovies or sprats, they're dirt cheap, about 3 4 quid a kilo, and such healthy oily fish...

Piece of piss to cook and eat too, just toss them in seasoned flour, fry in hot olive oil for 2-3 mins, squeeze some lemon and salt on them, serve with a salad and some brown bread and real butter....

I've got a tin of anchovies, what can I do with that?
 
i wish i could eat as much healthy stuff as you! that plateful would make me wretch, need to balance it out a bit!
 
Indian veggie thali. Veg curry, potato curry, yellow dahl, that yoghurt stuff I always forget the name of, rice and bread. Great for $2.

eaten about 3 platefuls of it this morning, combined with other stuff, ate half the topping off a toffee cheesecake for some reason. avoided the biscuit so it was probably wasnt that bad. problem is i counterct the healthy eating by slapping so much pickle, salad cream and other stuff on it, probably works out to be quite unhealthy in the end. proper morning binge none the less. dont feel hungry at all now ive been on the wine thank fuck, looking at it... urgh

was eating some bbq ricecakes earlier... with loads of jam on them. jam and bbq ricecakes... what sort of a fucked up combo is that. i swear sugar makes me wanna eat some proper random shite. at 9.5 stone atm, still. weight doesnt seem to shift much considering i can sit and bash through half a box of cereal etc when ive got some hangover booze/valium munchies. one day itll catch up and ill end up a bloater
 
Dan you over analyze yer food intake mate! you wont get fat from eating the biscuit from a cheesecake lol!!
you should eat whatever ya want, but remember that moderation and variety are the spice's of life, i dont mean that in a bad way or anything, i think you worry bout yer diet way too much, and its unnecessary i think :)

edit: i hadn't considered maybe you enjoy eating that way.. in which case ignore me :)
 
I think BCF is spot on, Dan you worry so much about your food and you're what, 9.5 stone? I'm slightly overweight at 13 stone / 6 foot but it's not going to kill me. I'm a bit picky about my food in terms of quality and nutrition i.e. I like variety and don't eat much fatty meat but really I just eat what I fancy. I get exercise by walking instead of driving or public transport when I can. And that's it.

On the other hand you may have your reasons that I don't know about so I'm not judging. You probably have much more sex than me. In fact I guarantee it! But right now that doesn't bother me much.

apologies if it seems that way, i dont worry that much about food, just like to hammer the healthy stuff, i think ive got some mild OCD about things, wont go into detail nothing major, (apparently quite a percentage of the population have ocd about various things without realizing it) mines not in a bad way though, as far as im aware. dunno why

can quite easily cross over into something that is one of the worse things to obsess over though (not saying that you are though Dan!)
