What are you munching on? v. Noodle nights n greedy monkeys

The teensy bit of fat running through it plus what was stuck to the bones rendered out just enough to make for rather lush-looking golden brown chunks without needing to add extra oil. Smelling scrummy already. Wish I'd remembered to buy a tin of chick peas, beans (not baked ones) or the like though. Looks like it'll just be peas or summat. Looking forward to me dins now :)
 
Making crispy beef and Chicken stir fry for dinner tonight. Most of which was in the reduced section. SCORE!

Was quite peckish when I got home so had a slice of Jarlsburg and also some whole wheat pita and some red pepper humus. Yummy.
 
Your dinner sounds much more lush than mine WR. I'll make them the stir fry and head over to yours for my dinns.


But honestly, I like curry much more than chinese. They're both quite nice though. Its just my personal preference to have a nice curry. Yummy
 
Hmm think I like chinese and indian equally, they're both delicious. The indian we've ordered from is the best in Newcastle IMO, amazing food can't wait. I'll save ya a portion Sadie! Lamb Saag and veg pilau with a keema, garlic and coriander nann :D
 
That just made my mouth water. I haven't had a good curry since my birthday back in September. How sad is that.


No offence Shammy. Our home made curry was nice but not local nice.

Yes, I am aware that my posts sound mostly very gay today. ( no offence to any homosexuals on the board, merely a phrase and will be removed should offence be taken.)
 
^ i know they're epensive, but we got through a bottle of supermarket hot chiilli sauce, encona, tabasco etc every month.

i've had a bottle of the Mad Dod 357 Ghost Pepper Sauce from the place above for welll over 6 months, and used about a quarter of a bottle. They are pricey, but good strong sauces with extreme chilli content.

The 357 Ghost Pepper I got also has underlying flavours, it's not just a superchilli kick, feck knows how the other flavours find their way through, but they do!

Sadie there's nothing gay about hot chilli sauces, I imagine most gays would be too gay to eat them.

EDIT>>>>>Yeah sadie, just looked at your link, those chilli sauces are definitely very gay.

They are not GAY!

I do love a HOT sauce but I also enjoy just the tang of a regular sauce. I often put franks for Cholula on stuff as I just enjoy the Tang with a mild heat.

I've currently got Dave's insanity sauce but I'm liking the sound of that Ghost pepper sauce. My mouth is already watering. I'm gonna have to buy me a bottle of that.

I go through Franks or Cholula in a couple of weeks. The man has Gringo mouth. I myself like the hotter side of life. YUMMY! I'm all about the Jalapeños too. NOICE
 
you might as well get some "Satan's Nuts" if you're going to that site.

Any of your more macho visitos turn up, "Do you like chillis?" "Yeah course I fuckin do, what you tryin to say????" "Try a couple of these chilli cashews, go on grab a handful, they're a bit spicey for me, but you'll probably love them" etc.....

ha ha ha, I did that with a scotch bonnet once. Some guy was giving it the hard man. I ate it. Broke out in a mild sweat as I do. He was running for the tap. Had to give him milk and bread.


Twas a minor victory to me.
 
Sadly I just added my own flavours to a jar. Couldn't be bothered with making my own tonight. Only done it the once. I still don't feel confident enough.

You bought a jar or curry sauce then added more flavours to it because you, a good cook as you put it yourself, arent confident enough to do it yourself? Sounds rank.

Its hardly rocket science, curries are so easy to make, whats so difficult?
