What are you munching on? v. gimmie toblerone n' beetroot

Have frozen brocolli, cauli, sweetcorn and peas Kate. Will probably chuck them all on and fry some onion for my 5 a day in one meal!

Oh aye with some garlic, ginger and quality soy sauce n' seasoning that sounds fantastic. Very healthy - what kind of oil do you use?

Have sesame oil there too, never thought of frying my steak in it though. Hmmm.

Any opinions on marinating the steak in this HP smokey BBQ table sauce before cooking? Not sure if it'll just end up a mess, sticking to the griddle n that?

sesame's good for flavour it would be too intense to use on its own. Think you've hit the nail on the head there with the hp marinade - sticky mess aye sounds about right lol. Why not water it down with some soy and mix it in at the end, if needing thickened a lil cornflour "slick" does the trick.

Mind you can always sneak the griddle into the dishwasher - I find it does a grand job of griddle disasters 8)

Man you're making me hungry again.

don't be putting oil in your griddle pan, just rub a very small amount of sesame oil all over the steak.

A mix of soy and BBQ sauce, would that not come out a bit minging?

Are you a student?

Sweetcorn on a skewer, how does that work?

Skewer goes through sweetcorn. I think it's pretty standard. Here's an example.

If you'd been clear about it and said corn on the cob all would be understood. ;)

if you got 2 have you considered microwaving them to soften them, sandwiching them together, and microwaving again in a bowl of milk.?

just an idea.
