Ok my badddddddd, american styleee, just saying, all nutrutional benefits can be gained from veg n salad etc apparently. but tbh its probably bollockls,used to look into all the percent n stuff but aint bothered recently

But I disagree, the base makes a huge difference. I couldn't happily eat a dominoes or a pizza hut again because the base is so shit, whatever slurry they slather on top.

have you tried using a pizza stone to cook on? I found this helps getting the base to cook more evenly. Oven needs to be at full temperature too. We just used jaimie olivers pizza base recipe and 350g of dough was good for a 12" base

How many people get their 5 a day, every day? I don't think very many. It takes some serious effort and dedication. It certainly doesn't happen by accident.

I don't unless I really try and I don't try every day.

I've yet to meet anyone. I don't think I could eat anything else after 5 portions of cabbage.
 
Saw an ad on the tele earlier for a show about '5 a day' and whether the food industry is hijacking the idea. They found this sausage and onion microwave meal that was claiming to have 2 of your 5 a day but when they opened it they couldn't find any veg in it.

i try n keep ontop of the Omega 3 as well

its odd though, my work mate binge drinks, pretty much drinks every day, eats nothing but shite, hes hardly ever ill or anything,

been hammering healthy food for long time now, deff felt the benefits from it, aint been ill for ages,
 
Just eating 5 different vegetables a day doesn't necessarily mean you got your 5 a day though. A portion of some things is a massive amount. Don't you have to eat a whole cucumber or something before it counts?

Aye I mentioned that earlier, it's a programme about how the food industry has hijacked the 5 a day bandwagon by putting 'X' of your 5 a day on everything. One meal they look it is some manky processed micro meal with no veg in it yet the label claims it has 2 of your 5 a day in it. Misleading advertising.

There was a boy on TV the other day who created a 'healthy' pizza that was balanced and low in fat, salt, carbs as well as being heavy on the protein, vitamins and other good stuff. I fucking love pizza.
 
I'm eating nectarines for breakfast.

Delivered to a nice greengrocer at work yesterday, and bought 3 nectarines for a quid. 20 mins later I'd finished them and was back in the shop and bought a box for 7 quid.

Fucking massive fruits, deep red skin, ripe, juicy, red/orange flesh.... love nectarines..(not the pieces of underripe crunchy "fruit" they sell in supermarkets as nectarines)

One of my favourite fruit, I cant remember the last time i found a nectarine like that in the UK. Those things they try to sell us in supermarkets aren't nectarines. Those things are an abomination to anything nectar related.
 
Tuna omellete away to get made. 6 weeks to lose a small ponch that was developed. Breads getting binned, oats and protein all the way.

Agreed on the nectarine thing, I can never get the ones from the supermarket to go ripe before they go rotten, I can get good ones from the market though.
