reading this thread is really pissing me off at the moment, proper starving, not eaten yet and have the grand sum of 46p to last till payday,hopefully tomorrow but thats not helping me now!

You must have something in the cupboard you can cook up?

Glad the retro plates are back again, was dissappointed the other night when it was a plain white one!


Just had a cheese, chorizo, onion and tomato omelette.
 
Dan, that plate looks a bit cohesive [as well as healthy].

it's a little unnerving.

you could replace the lettuce with cooked cabbage, for a complete Dantastic edge tho.
 
..Coco pops then some asda smart price crumpets
shared a bit of the crumpet with the dog though..

^ lol, starting to feel the munchies hit me too, so much for that rib eye i munched earlier.. tbh I wasn't to keen on it, as soon as the plate was put in front of me i noticed the smell of a butchers, like that realllly meaty meat smell, not too pleasant :|
smoking bongs of cheese(the strain) really stimulates the appetite!

been eating too much recently, mainly healthy but too much of it, especially fruit, put on weight, might live off cayenne pepper and raw chilis for awhile,
 
I don't think you can single out any one part of your diet as being particularly tortuous, mate.

Had salmon and roast veggies with spicy cous cous last night one of my all time favourite dinners, its lush. Got chicken breasts tonight waiting for me / inspiration...any ideas?

Coltdan I want you to take a master class...in droog-fiend's cookery :D

Ock I wish you were coming to my table max, I'm doing something "odd" with chicken, veg and chorizo, can't go wrong with chorizo, and pick n' mix from the spice / herb box. Would be lovely to set up extra places at the table <3
 
That certainly sounds lovely Kate.I just can't eat much when doing gear as it kills any appetite that I may have had so sweets are just about the only thing I fancy after a few bags.

salmon, roast veggies and spicy cous cous sounds amazing =D beaut of a combo, sounds all good. one of my all time faves has gotta be lasagna... loves it. assume you've already had your chicken breasts by now? dunno what to put with them... id eat them with anything haha

drug-fiend cookery master class lol im up for that! will end up the gordan ramsay of fucked up drug-fiend dinners served on retro plates

If I may dare Dan....

Perhaps stuff the chicken breasts with grated beetroot, mashed in with a tin of sardines (in tomato sauce), and a hard boiled egg. Dip in flour and egg, followed by breadcrumbs (make your breadcrumbs from jaffa Cake bases, see Dan's previous posts for instructions). Deep fry for 15 mins or so.

Serve with a side salad of celery and pickled onion.

Garnish with a sprout.

I think I'm getting the hang of this new cuisine you know, just watching that twat raymond Blanc making a dick of himself on BBC2, he'll wish he'd checked into this thread before making a whole series on French so-called cooking.

speaking of chilis and mustard, i had a plateful of brocolli and sprouts earlier, added a random chili, and stupidly put mustard on the fucker. Chilis and mustard aren't a good mix. but it was a good appetite suppressant for awhile. infact none of that shit mixes, but there you are. it raped my tastebuds

homemade raspberry jam on tesco light crispbakes is the bollocks, new favorite little snack. and more healthy than bread
 
Had a really great duck and rice dish earlier, not sure what the duck was marinated in but I'm hungry again and moght actually go back for more. I've found it difficult to find duck in Thailand so far, I've found it difficult to find anything but chicken or pork in fact! Beef is a rarity and often double the price.
 
TheSpade have you tried snake blood while over there? Or is it just a myth?
If it is possible to get it I would like to try a shot of it and to see what snake meat tastes like.
