Sans the goth chick though. But cheesy puffs all the same. Not had cheesy puffs in ages. Cheesy puffs <3

i want to get in a bath filled with cheesy puffs.
wish i could turn the tap on and cheesy puffs just came out.
**noe the less, cheesy puffs in the soap dish is a fab idea.

I could easily eat the full plate of them :) - Beauty with them though there tasty even after they cool down.

I had made a bowl of tartar sauce but seems to be missing from the photos :D.

Occurred to me after posting that there is absolutely nothing stopping me from making fishcakes meself. I've more or less always got all the necessaries to hand - well, if you count tinned tuna which is okay for fishcakes but less than ideal. I usually only make curry when I buy fish but do <3's me fishcakes so will make some this week. Have no idea why I haven't been really. Just stuck in a bit of a routine really. Routines are bad for you so will break it up a lil - thanks for the inspiration, Bear =D

^ =D

It's not really what I'd choose to use but do always have tuna in me cupboard. Have done 'em with tinned tuna before and were okay. Have never actually had non-tinned tuna though so my standards tend to be a lot lower than MM's ;)

I buy "fresh" fish (or as fresh as it's gonna be from Co-Op... which is not especially fresh) too but tuna is a handy storecupboard thing.

Ben: Have never had crab cakes but do fancy 'em. Have only had crab once or twice actually. And that was quite probably tinned (but was so long ago I really can't recall). Been a-hankering after trying crab again just recently actually. Tinned only though as there's no fishmongers in town and I'm buggered if I'm trekking off on the train to the coast. Would be a tad too pricey all-in and I'd probably botch cooking an actual crab anyway. Although I'm not quite sure how I'd manage that.

Yeah they are quite pricey. I was near the coast once and my good lady fancied a crab sandwich. She had a point, so did I after she mentioned it. Could we find fresh crab? No. We couldn't believe it. No restaurants or shore side sellers or markets carried any. We couldn't believe it. In the end we had to spend over a fiver for a tiny pre-dressed one form Waitrose. Wasn't worth the effort or money tbh. What is it with Bournemouth?

Have to admit I use canned tuna :D - Yeah I know its not the same as fresh fish but I always have cans of tuna in the fridge so way easier. I really doubt anyone would use fresh tuna in cakes though - if they do there crazy as fresh tuna is great raw or simply fried/grilled.

Crab cakes are really nice (crab in general is) but pretty pricey so not something I buy that often.

Best tip when making fishcakes - make them a few hours before your going to fry then and stick them in the fridge -stops them falling apart when your cooking them (and saves you having to use an egg in the mix).

4 Sausage, 4 Bacon, 3 Egg, Mushrooms, Beans, Fried Toast and a brew, perfect way to start the friday, think im ready to go back to bed again after that though, feel like a slug.

Does anyone know if Mars still make Topic bars? Had a hankering for one today and they didn't have one in the newsagent I went to earlier so settled for a Toffee Crisp. Asked the dizzy blonde behind the counter but she more interested in her nails to be honest and just replied 'ur'.
