Clearly the RM diet is the only one known to man that keeps you more svelte than the junky crackhead one. My god. If a posty were ever to develop a habit or two he could conceivably actually eat himself out of existence 8o

2 bottles of Henry Westones and a large gin and tonic too. 4 pints of ribena. 4 sweet and milky coffees.

11 and a half stone. 6ft.

I did go up to 12 stone over xmas. Must have been that After 8.

Yes, my job is to thank for it. One reason I like doing my job, let's me indulge my love of food.

EDIT>>>>every delivery office has a couple of fat posties though, I fucking dread to think how much they eat and drink.

^ I studied photography for three years. Never took it any further but love a quality pic all the same. You definitely have an eye. Have noticed it in other threads you post pix in.

MM: Ha! I'll never look at a tubby posty in the same light agian :D

Come to think of it, they're all pretty fit-looking around here - no matter how young/old they are - and is mostly just driving around these rural areas. My one actually runs from house to house when he's on foot. I've often almost fancied a posties life. Healthy, productive and seems to leave room for some kinda life outside of work. No way I could ever actually do it but the posties I've known have either been druggies quite content with their work (knew a couple years ago in precisely that position) or miserable fucks whos greatest pleasure in life seems to be redcarding yer instead of delivering Goodies. Funny ol' psyche (in both good and bad ways) is that of a postie, I suspect.

Christmas lunch - not sure if I posted this or not?

Not munching this and really suited for the random image thread but as were on the subject of 'food'

They are food actually, Bear. The Japanese like 'em as a food item (obviously not in large amounts). They're extremely tasty - and I fukkin loathe most mushrooms. Very "meaty" taste. Agaric tea tastes like Bovril.

I know there food - I'm just not chomping them atm ;) -

That looks absolutely delicious Mr Bear, I really would love to come round to your house for tea %)

I've been experimenting and have maybe gone too far. Vegetarian Scotch egg bake tonight :| Sounded like a good idea at the creative development and planning stage. However it executed poorly :\

Soya is a funny bugger. As is a Scottish husband's tolerance. You can push both so far and then its 8(

Oh well.

Back to the drawing board and mince.

It was really tasty (I love curry :D) - mind you the lentils and the cabbage led to a rather 'draughty' night :D. Vegetarian scotch egg bake has sparked my interest and something I'm going to try. Ill try something like a falafal mix in a loaf tin with boiled eggs in the middle (like an egg and ham pie but without the crust).

I haven't tried cooking with soya products - but I would probably curry it :D.

Sounds damn good Shammy, sorta jealous. I was gonna get fish and chips but am all codeine'd and whatnot and figured it'd be wasted on me so that's for tomorrow. Tonight will be a pot noodle and hash brown sandwich because I fucking CAN.

Have craved fish 'n' chips for years now - proper ones from a chippy rather than the pale frozen cheapo imitations that is. Is a rare day when I can justify spunking a fiver on dins tho sadly :(

The ravioli and sauce would actually be a tad beyond my price range other than the fact the sauce was half price and the ravioli was in the reduced section. Total cost ~£2.50 and the other half will be for tomorrow so works out bloody reasonable really.

Have never sampled a hash brown sarnie but suspect I would enjoy muchly. Have a bit of a fondness for hashbrowns and general stodge :o
