Made a really good scrag end and flageolet casserole today, leeks, celery, fennel, carrots and potato, bay, rosemary and green pepppercorns.
 
I've got 4 lamb chops defrosting that tomorrow I'm going to marinade for a couple of hours then chuck in the slow cooker with some veg and make a tasty curry. Would have liked to marinade them over night but don't think they'll be defrosted in time.
 
Baked potato, took out the innards, mixed with ham cheese and mayo, put back in its skin.. took about 1 hour 30 but was nice, with a hotdog and shitloads of onions
 
Tonight my good ole flatmate rustled up steak, chips and a lovely peppercorn sauce.
Beautiful,beats the beans on toast that I would have made for myself.
 
Dinner was bad tonight. I cooked up a delicious lamb chop curry a few weeks back and thought I'd do it again today, couldn't find the recipe I used so tried another that involved putting lager in. It was fatty, watery, no spice to it and no flavour.
 
Every doner kebab is ropey. I think I've put myself off them again hopefully for another few years.

^Makes my fucking skin curl, looks really realistic for some reason, as its what my finger looked like for a second when I almost chopped it in 2 before it started bleeding...

Pie and beans about an hour ago. Bought a 'red pudding' at the butchers earlier that I'll have for tea, I've no idea what's in a red pudding but I remember I used to get them from the chippy as a kid, haven't seen one for years. Will have it with chips later.

I love it too ponti, it's such a vibrant city with so much going on. No two days are the same in Bangkok, loads of interesting characters about and so much to do. Nightlife is good too, always something on every day of the week.
 
I'll be in Thailand in January. Love that country, this will be my 8th visit.

What is it you do out there pontifex01?

Incidentally I'm cooking beef massaman tonight :D
