What are you looking for in your drug deal?

I hate running around for weed... I like to call my dealer, tell him to meet me somewhere or I go pick him up. I don't like talking over cellphones... so I call, "meet me in 15, I'll be at xxx spot, bring me a 7"

15 minutes later, the dope is in my pockets. My buddy started selling weed, but in the past years we smoked so much together that it doesn't really matter who pays for the weed haha. If I want a 7, no prob, sometimes I pay, sometimes it's merry Christmas. :)

Karma... I'm not mean with my weed, and now everybody gives me weed hehe

---------------- (edit)

As far as specifications... well, I like baggies... little baggies for anything up to a quarter, half size ziplocs for anything above that fits ;)

The OP's question wreaks of law enforcement...if ur sellin weed, you should by then know how to bag it up, etc.

Sounds like a NARC getting opinions on how to make his undercover busts go better.

If the person meets me within 15 minutes of when he said he was going to, the weight is right on and the price matches the quality then it's all good.

+1.

I'd also like to add, consistency is a huge plus, in my opinion. A dealer who has a different 'type' of weed every week, is lame as fuck. I mean, if it's all good weed, then whatever. But don't hype up the Mexican dirt weed, like it's some dank, when you know I'm going to see it, and then obviously not purchase it.

As for the bad, there's so many things that could go wrong, to make it a "bad" deal. But, the only thing that irks me, is when a "dealer" gets pissy about me busting out my scale, to make sure it's on point.

Wow guys, you all deal with some whack ass shit just for a bag of weed. And Snugg, smoking the same strain, week after week and month after month, would get really old and I'd surely find someone new; I really can't understand why you think variety is a bad thing.
For all you kids who have messy relationships with fronts, find honest friends. If you're dealing (no pun intended) with trustworthy people, none of this will ever even come up. A front should be just that... collateral and all this bullshit.... nah. If someone wants to burn a relationship over $50, they're probably a shitty person anyways.

To me, a good pot dealer is consistent with quality, honest about what's in stock and times, fair in pricing (make a profit, but not a killing), knowledgeable about the product, and nothing more.

I can see how some of you get fucked, if I had customers as ignorant and uninformed as this bunch, I'd be tempted to make a quick buck too.

Exactly FUCK BULLSHIT

If you bullshit me, I'll simply find someone else. Knowing that, people tend to hook me up, it helps that I've known a lot of people for a long time so it's all good...

The one thing I will kick out a few extra bucks for (but don't really have to because it always happens anyway): Delivery to door

typically i'll be looking for drugs..high quality, low price. sometimes food, if they have any available, because they are usually friends. i dont care if a have to wait around or drive half an hour. thats one of many reasons why i use drugs..to expand and compress my subjective experience of time.

^you want your dealer to ensure your safety...?
they're not body guards
Unfortunately, it's not a perfect world, and even where I purchase my drugs legally at a dispensary, there is a problem with theft/robberies. I fully expect my dealer to either have a steel door open to members only and/or a guy with a gun; and they do.

Well, from my perspective there are a few points of a drug deal that are very important.

security - location location location, beyond that, who you are dealing with.
price - is X available at a cost that is acceptable
quality - how high is the quality?

in some situations i will pay more for better security, but generally wont compromise on quality

Well, the person I buy from doesn't call himself a dealer, he says he "networks," whatever the hell that means. Basically, I buy the bud, sit around the house for a variable amount of time smoking some of mine and some of theirs, and we sit there and talk shit or whatever.

And other times, I'll just cop the bud (or whatever other drug I'm trying to get, usually mushies) and leave.

I got a different guy that I get acid from, and we just go out and meet up for a smoke, in an out of the way spot, and we usually chill there and talk for a bit.

As for what I look for, I like to meet the person within the half hour at the most, any more than that and I'll ditch, not worth it to wait that long. as long as it's good quality and I didn't have to wait too long or pay too much for the amount I get, I'm fine with it.

I like variety. But, I don't like when one week I'm getting dank bud, and the next week, he's coming at me with some dirt brown bud, trying to get the same amount of money as he charges for the dank.

..That's why I only use one person now. He's always got at least 4-5 strains in stock, and the price is amazing.

its always plastic bags around here.
personally I would like to get some decent product at a good price.
That is a good drug deal for me.

Punctuality (I leave with my wares if you're not there within 15 minutes), and money.

Really isn't much more to it, don't be a shady sum'bitch and ye'll get yer drugs ;)

90% of people selling weed are just stoners making a few hundred a month to cover themselves. Pot is a people low margin business when you're at the bottom of the food chain (and if they are selling you an 8th they are) - nobody is getting rich that's for sure. So I wouldn't get too uppity about your college friend not being a dream multi-strain on time delivery service. Unless you're in one of a few commercialized med states or someplace like NYC that shit is just a pipe dream.

You are surrounded by idiots, thats pretty much your problem, i could make a shitload of money but the danger far exceeds the money which is saying a lot, let me clue you in - buy dirt, plant seed

growing in a non-medical state is a fucking terrible idea. i had my door kicked in after growing then when they came, i actually wasn't growing. i still got charged with bullshit for having lights and bongs and weed that was deemed "homegrown."

of course, nothing made its way towards conviction but i still have felony charges to be expunged...
