Roxanne's Revenge (Original-Street Version) 1984

The notorious one-take, on the spot, improvised recording that took place in the queensbridge projects in marley marl's apartment. This is the one people heard first in 1984. Roxanne recorded it off the top of her head between laundry cycles.

She was 14 years old.

have been into much heavier music recently. which is odd cos i used to think i listened to pop punk when i was happy and heavier stuff when i was depressed, its somewhat inverted. i think it might be the weather, now its colder things seem a bit less whimsical.

anyone who likes heavy music should like this song (and its not that heavy...). just listen from 3m10 to the end if you're not sure, for some insanely stunningly beautiful guitar work and vocal harmonies.

i don't like that music bcf it s got no melody at all , no lyrics and well i couldn't dance to it and i' ve been in2 electronic music for well over 25 years , sorry mate

just couldn't feel it n i listen to plenty of eclectic stuff , the production has no finesse sounds like a 5 year old has been let loose with a sampler and sum d&b tunes lol!
You wanna listen to some of Marley Marls early cuts from 84/90 they were done with a sp12 then 1200 and tech 1200 turntable n still sound great today , mind you Marley is one of the best ever to do it .

Lol i do get what you mean, possibly not the best example of breakcore lol im just in love with the amen break, i think it makes everything better :D lol

The cuts on this are so ahead of their time Marley was the best with Sp1200 its generally thought in the music production industry.
