Pil - Bad Night
As some of you the above track is from the unofficially released Commercial Zone album, basically the band fell apart during the recording and Keith Levene took (stole) the master tapes.
I have a copy of a German version that he had pressed up before he was legally stopped, but their were some copies, slightly different pressed up in the States these are in a plain white sleeve with the PIL log embossed into the back, thye are of a much better quality vinyl wise.
I saw one a long time ago in a record shop in Camden and didn't have the £35 they wanted for it (this would have been 20 years ago) and haven't seen one since.
I just located this:-

Its still in its original cellophane, I must have it, I'm fated to own this

and it would have cost me more in diesel to get to work in the last couple of weeks than it would cost me to buy it, its always been something I've wanted to own as I own just about everything else PIL produced, certainly all the early stuff anyhow right down to the 7" singles. My intention is to remove it from the cellophane and have the sleeve mounted with the logo facing out and the record above it in a frame. For me this record was PILs finest hour aside from Metal box, whatever ever John Lydon says his remix of it "This Is What You Want... This Is What You Get" doesn't come close. Is that a little self indulgent of me , you bet ya
As for work
