I first got into dance music, which became the love of my life, through a NOW compilation. It had S'Express 'Hey Music Lover' and Inner City 'Good Life' on it and I rinsed them both til the tape (which I stole from a friend) had no treble.

Years later I met Mark Moore (of S'Express) and went a bit giddy and loopy and clasped his arm and hissed at him that he was the reason that I had fallen in love with electronic music as a child, and that I was eternally grateful. He took it really well, and then we had a normal conversation.
 
I doubt anybody had ever said anything so profound to him before. The guy must have felt like God :sus:

He's probably still glowing. A far cry from the time I stared down Pete Doherty when he appeared by my side and swiftly retreated again at the pub counter. Somehow at first I thought he was a reanimated corpse...Then the penny dropped. You never come out of an encounter with your heroes without them looking a bit unnerved.
 
Listening to some nice Goa Trance right now (Persistent Aura-Hurricane, check it out) since I have a very nice MDMA afterglow from last night and am monged out on the couch :)
