Also liking Dvar at the moment. Kinda hard to describe as each track I've heard sounds little like the next one nor the one before. Odd. But in a good way =D

Dvar - Hishmaliin (kinda like the music from an 8-bit Japanese RPG or summat)

Dvar - Uuy-Gharr/Hissen Raii V.2\V.211 (definite Mike Patton influence - sounds like one of his vaguely orchestral "experimental" side-projects)

Dvar - Nier-Paa (very nice piano-based piece (with cello and cheap synth) - soothing on the ol' lugs)

So you see, the only proof,
Of what you are is in the way you hear the truth,
Don't be scared, live to win,
Although they're always gonna tell you it's a sin,
In the end, you're on your own,
And there is no-one that can stop you being alone

You had me at Mike Patton, listening now. Anything influenced by that great man has got to be good. Cheers. Here's someone else how sounds very Pattonesque

Ha well was going to post a track by the band Fingerprint off the album Impressions that sounds like Patton but can't find anything anywhere, just to prove it does exist here's the album on Amazon. If anyone wants this PM and I'll send it you. Seems rare, it's quite good as well if you're into Mikey P, FNM, Mr Bungle etc.

Nice, Dan... but why are all yer gee-tar clips so short? Always seem to end kinda premature. Is it just cos they're improv and kinda fizzle out (not meant in a nasty way - improv ain't easy)? Would be nice to hear you play summat all the way through. Either someone else's tune or summat of yer own.

Thanks, nah they're just purpose short clips of ideas,i never think anybody is interested enough to sit through more than a minute of playing, i could have carried it on or changed it etc can play all sorts of stuff for ages on the spot but people browsing through youtube aint gonna wanna sit through ages of it. yeah Ben i was thinking some kinda ambient kinda thing, some breezy wooshy sound kinda shit like the sea behind it, a piano, tinkly slow dreamy sorta stuff, been meaning to learn ableton wanna produce some hip hop beats and stuff

heres a longer thing from a few years ago, https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=136547560467&set=t.857175467&type=3&theater

Started off well, Dan. Got a tad fretwanky for my taste towards the end. Just personal taste though really.

Am still quite fond of Mr Acoustic Gee-Tar AFX Man on PooToob. Is perhaps not the most technically impressive fella on Poo-Toob but has always appealed to me cos I used to have classical gee-tar lessons (was never any good, mind :D) and <3 AFX so...

His version of "Four" by Aphex Twin
(and the other dozen or so he did which are also pretty impressive imo)
