If yer liking the... whatever you call it - "hippityhoppity that even folk who don't like hippityhoppity that much but know quality when the hear it" stuff - you can't go wrong with cLOUDDEAD. First self-titled album especially deserves to be in every music collection worth the name <3

These ain't off the first album though cos ya kinda have to listen to it straight through to really appreciate it. These are just qualilty tunes...

cLOUDDEAD - Dead Dogs Two (Boards of Canada remix)

cLOUDDEAD - Physics of a Unicycle

<3

EDIT: Liking that Cat Empire tune too - never heard of 'em. Reggae meets Mexican wiv hippityhoppity sprinkles? :D

Physics of a unicycle is a great name! Going to have to root around for a headphone extension to listen to it though missus is off to bed to read. Long day bless her. Will listen in two ticks. Shame brimz isn't around he could really drop some big tunes, which reminds me I owe him a pm about some earlier tracks he posted...

Don't know why but that first track made me think of:

Weird Al - White and Nerdy

Tis t'in't it, Ben :D

If you ever fancy getting a load of such stuffs try searching "Anticon" on your torrent purveyor of choice. Quite a few of the tracks I've been posting tonight are from their artists and their side projects. Usually a few rather massive files with a good selection to get started with and spin off from seeded on torrent sites. Doesn't really get much airplay that kinda stuff really - is all horrid commercial hippityhoppity dross mostly. And Brimz can certainly dish out quality at the more "gangster" end of the scale - and I don't mean "gangster" in a derogatory sense cos there's mucho damn fine stuff that's easy to dismiss as just being yet more bitches, hoes, gats and nines bollox if you only skim the surface. Am far from knowledgable about the ol' hippityhoppity but I do like language and good hiphop is just good poetry only wiv beats <3

/drunken ramble

Alias - Divine DIsappointment

Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip - Letter from God (very few people get away with sampling Radiohead without pissing me off... but his lyrics are quality and he picked a great tune and then clashes 'em to fuck - so wrong it's not =D)

Also, I fukkin <3 Dreadzone. Had one of my only two true ego death experiences whilst listening to one of their tracks. Not that one - and was purely coincidental anyway... but worked together perfectly <3

Yeah like the Alias track it's great and I'll do that, need to expand a bit my hip hop folder is shockingly light on content.

Letter from god to man is a stunning track, really clever punchline as well. Bloke is clever, must be he's got a beard see.

Ok need to try hard to tie this next track in, let's see, you linked a track with a Radiohead sample in it and the following band have covered High And Dry but it's crap and you'll hate it so instead here's:

Rhythm Del Mundo - Killing Me Softly

That's it from me tonight - Dan, Shambles it's been a pleasure as always. Thanks for all the great music <3 I bloody love it I does.
