Soooo lame how everybody's on skrillex's dick. Even Doctor P dropped a skrillex track.. disgraceful. Anyways. Fatboy Slim- Build it Up Tear it Down :) Big beat all the time lately.

How much money does it cost to equip yourself adequately enough to make tracks like this? I have incredible ideas for awesome tracks all the time but I don't know where to start... Also, does it take classes to learn how to construct a tune or to use the devices?

Back to the thread: This song never seizes to give me a HUGE craving to roll my fucken ass off in a festival of darkness, lasers, strobes and HUGE fucken speakers with the bass shaking the very core of my foundation...

Listen through to the end. The way the song progresses, when rolling and hearing it for the first or second time... blows your fucken world into a mushroom cloud of beauty, connection and trance. This song is a fucken masterpiece (imo)

If you're going to listen to this... I HIGHLY suggest turning your speakers on REAL fucken loud :). Hope you like it.
 
Start up costs are 2500-3500$ or more.
Some producers take classes, i have applied to a few schools to get degrees in music.

Yeah, just noticed that. But its stupid how I cant choose my iPod as the source for it and I have a bunch of tracks on my iPod that I really like but arent on my Mac :|
 
I use 2 iTunes for it (Win7 and Mac), mostly my Mac. But a lot of the tracks I would like to hear arent on my Mac and since I recently had to reinstall 7, my hardrive had to be formatted.

I just want iTunes to Auto DJ my iPod, not my library. Im looking it up but cant find anything on it. One of the very few Apple fails Ive come across.
 
I checked at Futureshop and they had some DJ tables for about 750$. I would probably go with that but then I need a keyboard too which is another hefty investment... then all the cables and a synth...

I'm not out of the woods oO
